At e3 2012. I mean just going by their 2 year cycle, teams like sucker punch, and media molecule would have been there. Add in the lack of developers like Ready At dawn, Polyphony Digital. It just seems that they have almost shifted entirely to next generation.

Less obvious though that it is going to release in 2013. I could see them releasing last. I mean sony almost confirmed holiday 2013 release date at this e3.

99% confirmed, leaving that 1% for the Vita messing them up so badly they delay all work on the PS4. But they've practically already said it, companies try hiding it, engines have been confirmed, etc.

and based on rumors it seems that MS will not only launch last but their console will be the most powerful too.

Its pretty obvious. Guerilla Games is working on KZ4, KZ Vita and a new IP. Sucker Punch is working on ?, maybe Infamous 3. ND Uncharted Team is working on ?, maybe Uncharted 4. Santa Monica A-Team is working on a new IP. Media Molecule is co-developing LBP Karting. Evolution Studios is working on ?, maybe a new Motorstorm or new IP.

I believe it was confirmed that Guerilla is working on a new IP.

Very obvious to me. I have some insider resources which have already leaked the specs to me: 512mb quad core Nvidia graphics card, 4gb 1067mhz ram, 2.2Ghz Intel i3 processor, 500Gb hard drive, 4x USB 3.0 drives. It should be a very impressive console, all for just $499.99.

Meh....but they won't be powerful. Epic already stated that they are going to have to make some compromises to make Unreal Engine 4 run on next-generation consoles. Console gamers aren't going to get the full Unreal 4 package they saw today.

There is also an AMD co-GPU in the PS4. Sony decided to be cool and have the Nvidia and AMD GPU work together in essence creating SLI-Fire.

They considered giving users the option of upgrading ram, but not the GPU. There was talks of putting in 2gb of ram and offering 4gb as an upgraded unit. Chances are they will offer 2-3 SKU's with different colors and sized hard drives.

THe big indication was actually GT6. If it isn't shown at gamescon. It is essentially confirmed that ps4 is 2013 with that as the launch title. I fully expect TGS reveal at this point
