How relevent is SW and gaming forums....

in the gaming industry....do you think that game devs actually get on these forums and read what ppl are talkin about regarding problems or successes...even ppl working for Sony, MS, Nintendo I wonder if they pay any attn to what goin on in the forum world?

I am sure devs look at forums to see what the people want and how they can improve their game

I doubt the big three use forums much, besides the ones on their own sites

sometimes the big 3 have SW mentalities lol

i doubt devs come to SW but im sure they do visit general gaming forums

I would hope so, they are in competition with each other

i hope not. most people who talk about games on the internet have terrifyingly bad ideas on what should be done with them.

I'm talkin about some of the stupid stuff they say it's like right out of SW

I sure hope they don't use fanboy fodder as a tool for a steering committee.

Certainly would explain why theres a lot of crap games. Listening to people on here.

I'd be surprised if game companies even care about SW at all.

They know 99% of the gamers here have no clue about game development.....or about how the industry works.

I think they read message boards a lot in general , but probably not system wars. Cory Barlog actuallyposted onsystem wars though , lol. He was over on the God of War Gamespot boards posting and answering questions too.
