That's dumb. Different games are optimized for different systems. All you need to do to decide is watch/read a comparison.
What if you have a 360 and PS3 and the game in question is Oblivion? The PS3 version of Oblivion is better than the 360 version.x-2tha-zBuy the game for whichever you have the highest gamerscore/trophies or don't buy the game at all.
Are yo-. Facepalm. This is a joke thread....That's dumb. Different games are optimized for different systems. All you need to do to decide is watch/read a comparison.

If so, I'm going to repeat the same thing:
That's dumb.

There is absolutely no logic in it whatsoever. LOL. Good one.
[QUOTE="SamiRDuran"][QUOTE="Download_Me"]No 9/10 times its better on whichever platform you prefer.adamosmakino matter what you prefer it doesnt change the fact that the pc version is better. you might not prefer it but it is better... We should wait any moment now for the "its better with a controller" and "its better on my HDTV"No because if all your friends and your achievements/trophies are on that one platform, and its a multiplayer game, then it would be best to buy it on that platform.
most multiplatform games aren't that great, to be honest. AC1&2 were pretty terrible, GTA4 stunk, and RDR is fun for about 10 minutes. FIFA is one of the few good multiplatfor games, so unless you want your little brother sitting on your lap with his own keyboard/mouse, buy it on a console.
You just mad RDR wasn't on PC, one of the greatest game of this generation. GTA 4 was pretty decent too.most multiplatform games aren't that great, to be honest. Na, both games were terrible, especially GTA4 which is one of the biggest piles of craps I've ever stepped in.

...which is why they have universally positive critical acclaim, shifted millions of copies, have strong communities and appeared on many GoTY and "Best Of" lists (or will do so in the case of RDR) right? Yeah...don't try to turn anything that's subjective into something that's objetive :)[QUOTE="Heirren"][QUOTE="Download_Me"]You just mad RDR wasn't on PC, one of the greatest game of this generation. Yeah...don't try to turn anything that's subjective into something that's objetive :)It's a business. The quality of games is not that great this generation. A lot of people think most of the games that are getting 9+ scores do not deserve them. People with jobs in the industry want consumers to buy these games--it is how they keep their jobs.

...which is less true then the fact that people enjoy these games and don't worry about being ridiculed on game forums where hating on anything thats popular is cool. If you're having fun and enjoying the game, then why is it "trash" or "garbage"? Did you even play Red Dead Redemption?[QUOTE="Heirren"][QUOTE="Download_Me"]...which is why they have universally positive critical acclaim, shifted millions of copies, have strong communities and appeared on many GoTY and "Best Of" lists (or will do so in the case of RDR) right? If you're having fun and enjoying the game, then why is it "trash" or "garbage"? Did you even play Red Dead Redemption? I guess we can agree to disagree, and both be right at the same time, because this gen[and last] feels like a bridge generation to making gaming 100% mainstream. Now I'm not saying, "oh it is mainstream now, it sucks," but instead pointing out that the way games are played and viewed has changed drastically over this time. I grew up where the fun part of the game was the challenge it provide. Where the timing, rhythm, and hand/eye coordination played a large part in the actual game design. These days the "fun" of the game, which is fine if the player does find it fun, revolves more around gameplay-gimmicks. "Oh, cool, I can loop this guy with a string!" "mom look, if i shoot that barral, water pours out and makes the sand wet." Detail is nice, but it is pretty obvious that visuals, in most cases, is taking the forefront of game design. I'm glad games like Mario Galaxy are being praised, because it is one of the few that actually feels like a game to me.[QUOTE="Download_Me"][QUOTE="Heirren"]It's a business. The rest of us will enjoy this generation because it has been one of the greatest yet. If you want challenge, try playing Demon Souls. I'm definately glad that gaming as a medium grew up, and if you aren't, then just dust off an old Atari console or SNES.

You are missing the point. The point is that the entire industry seems to be shifting to something akin to the 'shut your brain off summer blockbuster movie.' I'm not saying that this gen has been terrible, I just think the focus of game design is in the wrong place. Now that it is a booming industry, money plays a much larger part. There are far less risky games--instead we get loads and loads of copycats. With all this new tech, all we have is better graphics/physics?
Demon Souls is overrated as far as challenge goes. Which brings me back to the beginning--gamers growing up today have been desensitized to challenge. When a game comes out with mild challenge? "this game is impossible!"

First off, I am NOT a PC guy, but facts are facts. Technically speaking, multiplatform games generally play better on a mid to high level PC.
