I was just thinking about this the other day, that if you have been using Bing Rewards since the PS4/XB1 launched and have been banking your reward points, by the end of this year you should have most or all of an Xbox Scorpio saved up, or enough to buy a PS4 Pro, or easily enough for a Nintendo Switch and a couple of games.
Use the internet a moderate amount? Do online search engine searches on a daily basis? Bing Rewards gives you rewards for doing searches all the time, limits can be between 15 cents to 30 cents a day on your PC, 10 to 20 cents a day for mobile searches. Then there's maybe another 5 to 10 cents or even more a day in other special points by taking short quizzes or looking at special image collections and whatnot (depends on the day). It's really easy to earn about 30 cents a day or more in rewards (or 300 points) by just doing what I normally do on my PC and smartphone. Now, it might not seem like much, but think of it like a piggy bank or a coin jar, 30 cents a day over say 4 years (about the length of a short console generation), that comes out to $438.
Now, I'm an Xbox guy. I use these rewards to redeem $5 or $10 digital store credit all the time as I've been buying nearly all digital games on my Xbox One this gen. But, even for those of you who don't have an Xbox or buy digital games for it, there are other rewards for it, you can redeem your points for gift cards to retailers like Amazon and GameStop. If you game on a PS4, you can use the points to redeem an Amazon/GameStop credit and get yourself PSN credits that way; or same for Steam and Nintendo gamers for that matter, use the rewards to get yourself something nice.
So, whether you want to save up for the follow-up to the Scorpio, start now, it's never too late. Or if you'd rather start saving up something toward the next PlayStation, start using it. Want to save up for the next Nintendo whatever, start using Bing Rewards. Don't have a goal, but want to bank them for a rainy day, you can do that. If you don't like Microsoft's Xbox, fine, whatever, but don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
Is this System Wars worthy? Well, reactions might define that. Would not be surprised if some here started spouting something like Microsoft working for NSA so inter-dimensional reptilian shape-shifters that rule the world can get us to drink their fluoridated water and smell the chemtrail air and get vaccinated so blah-blah-blah something... really? Enough here for a free console, you really that paranoid? Or, is there a better reason not to? If so, I'd like to hear it.
**Oh, and only available in the United States. Maybe there's a workaround for you foreigners, but you guys might have to figure that out among yourselves.**
