In what terms do you mean. UI wise or what?

The Xbox 360 has became more seemless through the year with the updates with adding where you can still do stuff while downloading, Auto download Arcade games, View videos from burnt discs and HD without media center. Overall though the system at lauch was pretty good, they just keep making it better.

If you mean game wise the Xbox 360 I think was a little stronger on the game front on lauch games.

PDZ - Good game but hyped way to high as a Xbox 360 killer app
Kameo - Great 'new' IP but was a little short
Condemend - Great thriller game
PGR3 - Not really into racers but it looked good.
CoD 2 - Good game
few more other games.

I didn't get my 360 until March, so I don't know if I qualify to answer this... but I'd say it wasn't bad. I was very content with GRAW over Live, and Oblivion and CoD 2 for a while...
