A diet PS4?
PS4 lite?
The Xbone was essentially the PS4, but just under graphically (PS4 had the multiplat advantage), and lacked the indie and Japanese game support (Persona, Guilty Gear, etc) the PS4 also enjoyed which allowed the PS4 to triple/quadruple sales and get a 450+ game library lead that keeps growing month to month. That is odd considering both machines released in November 2013, you would think the library gap would be much smaller with two machines that are so similar and released one week apart.
Between the Xbox 1 original, Xbox 360, and Xbone, the Xbone definitely has work to do in getting more quality exclusives. The Xbox 1 OG and Xbox 360 were better on the exclusives front. I'm not comparing the Xbone to PS4 (where the PS4 has an advantage), just the the other two Xboxes exclusives of yesteryear.
It will also be remembered as a machine that had new developers take on Halo (343 with two original Halo games under their belt, one last gen) and GeoW (brand new untested devs Coalition), the machine where Remedy wasn't quite up to Remedy standards (QB's 77/100 metascore), and the machine where Kinect, Lionhead, and Fable died.
I've had mine since launch, and it's a good machine...but I expected things to turn out different.
