most of the 360 and PC reviewers on this website will not even play it, and even if they do play it, you know they are going to be jealous and biased towards uncharted 3. Don't all of Gamespot reviewers have to agree for an overall GOTY? I think they might give it to a multiplatform game like Skyrim and take the easy way out... You think Uncharted 3 won't win GotY because it's a PS3 exclusive? Correct me if I'm wrong, but in 2008 and 2009 didn't PS3 exclusives win GotY on GS?

And no, I'm not wrong. In fact, since this gen began only one game that has won GotY has been a multiplat and that was Red Dead Redemption.

Demons Souls winning GOTY refutes your OP, and I really can't see how hype surrounding it is relevant, unless the supposed 360/PC GS staff who don't have access to a PS3, can only play underhyped exclusives and thus vote for them as GOTY.

But Gears of War, Super Mario Galaxy, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Red Dead Redemption were heavily hyped games and they won. The only sleeper this gen has been Demon's Souls.

Also, GS is not IGN. They don't have specific teams for different platforms so your argument that PC/360 reviewers will be harsh on it is pretty lame.

No, if a game deserves GOTY then it will get it, no matter what platform, and I like the Uncharted series, played both 1 and 2 and I'm getting 3, but Skyrim is totally going to get GOTY and it deserves it. Bethesda has yet to let me down, Oblivion was amazing and it's looking like Skyrim is going to be even more amazing! Sorry dude, it has nothing to do with exlcusives, it comes down to the best game and as of now if I had to choose to get only one, Skyrim would be my choice. I don't see how Skyrim being on 3 platforms has any effect on GOTY vs. Uncharted 3 being on only 1. I personally see Skyrim being the better game (fact is it's a huge open world RPG, where hours upon hours can be put into it and even more on top of that), while I'll play U3 two or so times (10-15 hours per play through most likely and then shelve it for quite a while before picking it up again).

In fact, I was shocked that Demon Souls beat out Dragon Age: Origins for GOTY, it's a tough feat to take down a major Bethesda or Bioware RPG from being GOTY, but it took another RPG to do it.
