Wow. Just look at the size of that board. For a game that scored a 5 on IGN, I'm pretty impressed. I predict it will easily make the top 5 in the June NPD numbers despite the negative critical reactions. Your thoughts?

My thoughts are that people will buy it because of the name Pokemon and not for actual depth of gameplay.

I was gonna say, "As long as it's good I'm fine with it." But it got a 5 out of 10 at IGN?! :? That could be a problem.

I think they are just being hard on it. I must be the only one who liked Pokemon Stadium 1 back in the day. That was a 9/10 from me. If it's anything like that I'd think it would be good, see the thing is this game is going to get the Shadowrun treatment. A very fun game to play but hurt simply because of it's value, which then makes people think the game sucks, when it really doesn't, yet poeple will buy it anyway because it has Poke mans

I don't trust IGN's reviews, they're just unreliable. I really want this game to be good. If it really is as bad as IGN says, then I'd be annoyed if it sold well(which it will).

Ugh PBR. I don't understand Pokemon colosseum games. You just battle pokemon in 3D even though you can do that in your handheld game without spending $60 bucks.

It won't, so it doesn't matter. The top sellers of this year will be Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, Halo 3, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Madden,GTA4, and Super Mario Galaxy. Battle Revolution will probably become a platinum title, but it won't compete with the heavy hitters.

Pokemon D/P came out in 2007 and have sold atleast 7 million around the world..and its not out in Europe yet..

This could mean that it is going to be a lot more games to follow that will be on Blue-Ray in the near future. Just think of some of the FPS games that could be finished in just a few hours now could last for days just in single person. And unlimited time online without doing the same thing all the time.
