I would pray that ff13 vesus is better, but getting lower than a 90 on metacritic doesn't mean it's bad, now below 80 for a main ff title that would be bad
Would'nt really care. XIII will be my first FF as long as the combat is good (not sure because I read it was turn-based *vomits*).TheGrat1It won't be traditional turn based, but if that still turns you off then you should play 13 versus as your first ff title
[QUOTE="Silent-Hal"]Indifferent. I'm more looking forward to Versus XIII since it isn't turn based. Toriko42If FFXIII does well on 360 I guarantee Versus will come over Either way with the way Squeenix has been doing on consoles...I would not be surprised Good for 360 owners I guess. I don't care about the regular FFXIII because I hate turn based combat, not it's multiplatform status.
It won't happen. Square is one of the best developers/publishers. Regardless, I don't care about reviews one bit. BenthamI hope your right. :) I really hope that SE is gonna make a really good RPG.

I knew it was turn-based to some degree but the combat looked interesting enough to the point that I considered being able to grin and bear it.
For some perspective: The first and last turn-based rpg I enjoyed was Pokemon Blue Version >.>
Ya, The Last Remnant and Infinite Undiscovery were given mediocre reviews and SE were really confident that they would recieve good ones. If Final Fantasy XIII recieved less than a 90 on Metacritic I would still play it because I am a die hard fan, but I am confident they will get at least a 90 but not an outstanding 95, 96, or 97. (I was also going to mention that Lost Odessey and Blue Dragon recieved crappy reviews but then I remembered they were made by Mistwalker)
Indifferent. I'm more looking forward to Versus XIII since it isn't turn based. Silent-HalThe last 8 main series entries havent been turn based, so Im pretty sure 13 wont be either. ATB=/=turn based. If you just want an action RPG then cool. As for the topic I really wouldnt care. Jrpgs used to be my favorite genre back on the SNES/PS1, but I really dont expect much from them nowadays. Im getting 13 no matter what since the FF series always delivers quality, but I wouldnt be surprised if the scores arent stellar.
It will get a 92.6 percent on GameRankings.
If it did get lower than a 90, I don't imagine it'd be that much lower. Still shocking, though.
[QUOTE="HAZE-Unit"]No brainer, I will blame Sony for this.Blackbond
So is that who I should tell Cryme Tyme to go after? Well regardless of which if this game did flop I'd have to find some serious Cryme Tyme .gifs
Sony is the one to blame, for fanboy reasons only and it is important to find some serious gifs for Cryme Tyme, it is FF after all , watching this game flopping is like watching Kobe doing 10 points in a full match.
[QUOTE="angry_fork"]I hope it fails, big time.lawlessxhoping a game to fail? how sad.
I'm not hoping a game will fail, i'm hoping a company will. Square Enix needs to be done with, completely.
I won't go into the reasons why, but it didn't start with FF13. And I know if FF13 failed the company wouldbe destroyed.

yeah me too.
I'm already a bit doubtfull about this one.. Female protagonist.. There goes my immersion (unless they really go out of their way with characterization)MlauthemightyWhat do you have against female protagonist? Last I heard, she's based off Cloud. I for one don't care for scores, I will buy and play this game regardless. That's how much of an avid FF fan I am.
