Honestly fantastic. It was an 8.5 for me at first but the more I play it the more I realize how addicted I am. It really rewards you over time in a way that you don't realize in the first few days of playing. I still really, really love BC2, all the people who call the BC series a disgrace to the Battlefield name are just fanboys because it added a lot. I'm kind of disappointed that the destruction is, for the most part, gone but BF3 is still a fantastic shooter irregardless. I'm constantly going back and forth between liking it better than BC2 and finding it just a tad shortfalling, both are just fantastic though. Hope the BC2 community survives for awhile longer, or that a BC3 is on the way eventually (obviously no time some, I'm preoccupied with enough games right now), that destruction was just too much of a draw for me to discard it as never being a part of the BF series again.
none of the console versions hold a candle to the PC. the game was designed for the PC.How far is the PS3 version from PC's?

if you have a mediocre gaming PC you should go with the PS3 i guess. origin is also clunky crap.Is it worth it to buy the PS3 version? Because I don't know anything about PC gaming.

The game is still amazing on consoles. Of course, if you have a gaming PC then it would be recommended you get it for that. This can be said to pretty much any game though. The game is still good on consoles. Multiplayer is amazing, SP and Coop are meh IMO.Is it worth it to buy the PS3 version? Because I don't know anything about PC gaming.

It's the same, but the controls are better on ps3.
watIt's really good. The only serious difference is that there is no 64 player conquest. I'm enjoying it a lot and if you liked BC2 you'll love this game.Is it worth it to buy the PS3 version? Because I don't know anything about PC gaming.

He plays the game like its Call of Duty. Battlefield is not Call of Duty. Why is he bum rushing with 13% health is beyond me...ShadowDeathX
Whats the "battlefield way" of playing the game then?
Is it camping, sniping and spawn killing?
BF3 is a war simulation its not a real war, most people who play BF3 forgot about this when they were buying the game.
Now im not saying EVERYONE who plays BF3 camps, snipes, and spawn kills, but the majority of the plays do that, which makes it unplayable, unless you camp and snipe aswell, now wheres the fun in that?
I'll have to camp to even play the game.
[QUOTE="princeofshapeir"][QUOTE="WyteCollaCrim"]I dont recommend the game, if your into action. Not trying to be a one man army. You actually use team work in BF3.

I can't watch that whole thing, but that video is a perfect example of just how much of an idiot ElPresador is.
"I can't turn, it's too slow." He turned his sensitivity down at the start of the game. Want to turn faster? Increase it.
"What the ****!" This was his general response when his gun didn't lock on someone and he got killed. Managing to scrape by with a few percentage points of health = "beasting" to ElPresador.
"Where are they?" How about looking in the direction you are getting shot from as indicated on your screen?
Chuckle head.
Its very good, imo Forza4 and BF3 are AAA games, even if gamespots score does not agree.

Nope it definitely isn't an AAA game. Too much technical issues and a lame campaign really hold it back. I'd say wait a couple weeks TC and let them iron it out.

So much wrong in your post, one doesn't even know where to begin, but I'll try:1st off, if the only mode that I can see where spawn killing is a problem is in TDM, and not in Rush, or Conquest. If you bought BF3 strictly for TDM, then there's something very wrong here. I believe that DICE just put TDM in this game because of the whiners who wanted it in BC2, and complained about the fact that the misinclusion of TDM in BC2 was one of their main reasons for not buying the game. Rush, and/or Conquest is where BF3 shines because BF3 is a infantry to infantry, infantry to vehicular, or vehicular to vehicular combat kind of game, and in TDM there's no vehicles, in which is taking a BIG part out of the game itself. It's like taking KS away from CoD. Without KS, CoD wouldn't be CoD anymore, and in this scenario, BF without vehicles isn't BF anymore. IMHO, DICE really didn't put their all and their trademark in TDM because they wanted to attract some of the CoD boy, without totally blemishing their reputation with the game (for example: the inclusion of KS)
2ndly, if you're referring to "El Presidor" videos (for I didn't click onto your link, but "coincidentally", your complaints, and his complaints mirror each other), that's the WORST person you can use for a great reference to BF3, and don't come here with that "but this is only a game" deal because if you win in a hectic firefight, and/or get shot up in CoD to where your screen is basically red, you'll duck out of combat, and let your health regenerate, because if not, you'll have a very bad game in just about every game that supports health regen. El was complaining about shooting his targets plenty of times and they're not dying, but his videos tells a different tale because he only got 1 or 2 hit markers while shooting at the guy. It seemed like the recoil was his biggest enemy (and seeing that he's a CoD fan, and that most weapons in CoD lack realistic recoil, I can see why he'll have a hard time shooting people in BF3). For crying out loud, he stood in FIRE and tried to get a kill, and when the fire killed him, he complained.
So in short, you can't play just one aspect of the game (and the weakest aspect of the game at that), and sum up BF3 just from that experience alone. Play a game of Rush and Conquest to get the true nature of BF3.

Multiplayer is alright but it really just gets you prepared for the epic single player experience. That's where the real fun is.

First you have to realize that "AA" means nothing officially and is just a couple of letters that fanboys attach to games in order to argue their point across on the internet.
As for your question, yes it is the best military fps to hit this year. I got bored of call of duty a few cods ago, so mw3 isn't even on my radar. As per EA usual, the servers can lag and have a few glitches for the first few weeks of launch, but all will be fixed just like in the past (not that it is really noticeable in the first place).
