In fact, they like to deny them until the very day before their official announcements just to throw you off their trail. I really hope thats true......cause I want 360 to milk this price war as much as possible. We all ready have a 6 million lead and will make it 7 come march. If its untrue and the PS3 price cut is later in the year, thats even better.

but sadly these rumors turn out true.

Hmm, thats contradicting itself in the same sentence.  Sony has said alot that they aren't dropping prices.  Although every says that so I guess you shouldn't take it to heart.  However, I will say that the last time they got more competitive in price, all they did was throw in a bigger hard drive and keep the price the same.  This may be a bundle and not a 100% official price drop, although if its bundled with a high quality game (say LBP, MGS4, Resistance 2, etc) its effectively a price drop since the unspoken price of every console except the Wii and recently the 360 is that "*games sold seperately" on the box that everyone often forgets about when saying how much a system cost.
