Hypothetically...if MGS4....

Hypothetically, if PS3 lost exclusivity to MGS4 all together and was released on Xbox 360 on the same day, would the PS3 have as good a chance at touching the Xbox 360 install base?

This is about MGS4 remember, not Killzone 2 or any other new IP that is not proven.

I want a contrast similar to what happened to DMC4. The fact that PS3 fanboys didn't give a crap about it simply because it was also on Xbox 360 on these boards anyways. I also want to know if maybe interest is maybe coming from the fact that it is in fact exclusive.
