I admit MGS4 alone will not increase PS3 sales....

But below games will increase PS3 sales like sky rocket :

1. God of war 3 ( ultimate system seller )
2. Final Fantasy XIII & Versus ( another system seller )
3. Little Big Planet
4. Tekken 6 ( the true fighting game )
5. Devil May Cry 4 ( DMC4 with 360 controller is such a joke, have fun lemmings.. )
6. Gran Turismo 5 ( all previous GT series surpass 1 million in Japan alone )
7. Uncharted Drake` Fortune ( best game in SGD in my opinion )
8. Team Ico Project
9. Socom Confrontation
10. Next gen Rathet & Clank ( don`t remember the title )
11. Resistance Rise of Man
12. Resident Evil 5 ( Japanese gamer prefer PS3 edition , RE5 on 360 is another joke for me )
13. GTA IV ( on 360 also but GTA dev said they have a problem with 360 hardware so which more is superior? )
14. White Knight Story
15. Lair
16. And others AAAA PS3 titles I don`t remember

I agree with you as well- I don't think MGS4 will be (by itself) the saving grace of the PS3. (note: I am a fan of the PS3)

I would say that the best weapon Sony has in GT5, considering that GT3 was the highest selling game last generation. They need to get the hype running for that game- it may not help sales immediately, but if 3rd parties get the impression that people are just waiting to buy the PS3, it will still receive support. 

The only system sellers on PS3 are God of war 3 maybe, Gran turismo, maybe. And FFXIII. People are not going to drop $600 to play one game. And MGS has never been a system seller, sales are very average for the series.

You think GTA4 will do more for the PS3 because you believe there might be problems with the 360 version?

I think the $200 cheaper pricetag on the 360 will be the determining factor actually. 

There is alot of great game on the list.  The only problem is that at least half of them won't be out untill 2008 and some wont come out untill 2009.  Sony need people to buy there system now to increase the amount of games there selling.   Game developers will make more exclusive games for the PS3 if the PS3 user base is increased.

You can go on about how people are afraid of the power of the PS3 console but without games to show it off then it doesn't matter how powerfull it is.  We need AAA titles now.

Really only 3 of those on that list are system sellers and GTA is coming out for 360 so it wouldnt make since to get a PS3 when its on a cheaper system........and when did GTA say they had trouble with 360 hardware LINKS
