I am having a urge to purchase a PS3 again!!!

I have badly been having the urge to purchase a PS3 again ever since the Slim models came out. I already own a 360 and a Wii and I love both consoles dearly. I previously purchased the PS3 40GB to play MGS4 and sold the system. I later Purchased a 40GB to play Killzone 2 and was able to return the console. I am having this same urge again to purchase a PS3 but most of the games I like are multi-plat. I get sick of not playing great exclusives that the PS3 has to offer at times but do not like wasting money.

For the people that have own the PS3 and the 360 do you find value in owning both consoles or is it almost pointless.

I think there would be less money-wasting happening if you just held on to the console. Buying and selling consoles and games are a huge loss imo.

I think at this point in time and even last year both the 360 and PS3 have been able to establish themselves as being able to co-exist. Both of the consoles have wonderful exclusives, and certain multi-plats run better/have better perks on certain consoles (majority of them being better on the 360, but games like Dragon Age, FFXIII and Batman AA would be 'better' purchases on the PS3)

All 3 consoles can easily co-exist together, and if you don't think so now, by the end of 2010, I don't see how you couldn't.

This will have to be a decision I will need to make on my own. I will probaby end up purchasing it again but this time I will just keep it and never look back.

If you can afford it then it is definately worth it. There are enough differences in game library to make it worthwhile, plus you can arbitrage the multiplats.

Why would you consistanly sell the system after you bought it? I say buy one, and keep it. All 3 systems have games worth playing and worth keeping the console for.

If I purchase it this time I will not sell the console and I will stop subscribing to Xbox live to get more use out of the PS3. I never lost much money on the PS3 and the games I purchased and sold or returned. I only lost like a total of $50 because I sold the games during their hype and was able to buy the PS3 I sold without paying tax. I just felt it was not worth keeping at the time.

I will probably end up buying it again and will connect it to my gaming monitor and will keep my 360 and wii connected to my HDTV. I will buy the PS3 this time and will not buy any extra controllers and will use it to play online and do the majority of my gaming on it.

I actually bought a ps3 and sold off my xbox. Now i dont regret for 1 second about getting a ps3. I love it to death, but I do regret selling off the xbox.

It was neccessary and I could of held onto it.

Its best just to own both systems and stick with it.

i really enjoy being a ps360 owner. getting to play exclusives is worth it to me.
god of war 3 is pretty epic i think everyone should play it atleast once.uncharted 2 is very good also.
