I don't think that there's a more generic shooter out than than Resistance 2. The game looks absolutely horrible. In a year, people in the videogaming community will use Resistance as synonymous with a game that is the opposite of fun.

You can say this game has crappy graphics, you can say the online is somewhat broken, you can say it's generic, but when you say it's the "opposite of fun" that's just pure fanboyism. I've criticized this game but if nothing else, R2 is pretty fun.

You have that feeling? Did you pay real generic shooters out there, like TURNING POINT, HOUR OF VICTORY, or PERFECT DARK ZERO.
There are better contenders for mediocre shooters. I don't know if R2 will set the world on fire, doubful, but it's not going to be "THE MOST GENERIC SHOOTER"or "THE OPPOSITE OF FUN".

Hmmm, Resistance 1 had a bit of a funny sound track. It was ok in it's own rights, but if you've played R&C it's a bit, well, familiar. I'm guessing it's the same guy, but I felt the music needed to be a bit louder and more... authentic? Something didn't feel right. I hope they change that for Resistance 2.
co-op is spectacular and 30 vs 30 is intense and this only beta. i know there are halo 3 die hard fans out there and will never replace it, but this game just owns. never mind which system is it coming from, this game could have come out in xbox or ps3 or wii and this game will still be amazing. SHOOTER OF THE YEAR IF NOT GAME OF THE YEAR
I never liked the First one but after playing the beta for 3 days I must say that I'm very impressed with the game.I personally will Hype it AAA and you can quote me on that.I can sense a solid 9.0 from GS but then again look at what happend to Fable 2.Either way it'll be AAA to me.
