I would say go for it, but i can see many reasons why you would want to keep the PS3...
i have absolutely no idea
If you're going to sell your PS3 and get $500 why don't you buy 2 Wiis, and sellone on ebay for a nice profit.JMart0492
I am from the uk not the usa
Wii doesn't have many games besides collections of minigames. It has an FPS or two... a few deep adventure games, but all I can think of is the new Zelda game.
Mario Party 8, uhh, restrictive online service (friend codes)
you can play a whole bunch of old nintendo games for a price on the virtual console
uhh, wii remote? I guess that's some kind of plus, maybe...

You obviously didn't play far enough into Cuddlywinks to get to Mission 6, in which the Gingerbread Scouts invade the Honey Drop Hivemind's Lair with dual rocket launchers, riding on mechanized wooly mammoths, while raping the queen bee during the boss fight and taking the Lord's name in vain. And that's a real shame. It was a very mature and so un-kiddy moment in a deceptivley titled game.
Your trading in a what will be a top notch system with good games for titles like "Camp Cuddlywinks: Gingerbread Campfire stories", rehashes of the same thing over and over, tilting a stick left and right to dumb down games and just a rip-off.soulsofblayck
hahaha....I musta missed those two on the Wii's recently announced list lol.
I like the new way playing games with the wii my brother wants to buy my ps3 for £450 so that money would get me the wii with six gamesscottishbull72
You´ll get sick of the wii a lot faster, at least I would, I would hold on to the ps3, wait at least until some of the bigger gaems come out so you can experience them.

if you wanna sell your ps3 no matter what happens then sell it for an xbox360 its better than wii and you will not gonna feel like stranger on it . it has a lot of shooters and online unlike wii if you really love some light minigames and stuff then go for wii.
in the end its your choice to decide which console to buy

Are a lot of shooters a bad thing or good thing?

I have a xbox 360 i would never sell my 360.
I am thinking about selling my ps3 and getting a wii on sunday what do you think.scottishbull72It's your decision, just don't regret later.
Are you interested in the games for the Wii? Both the ones out and the ones coming out?foxhound_fox
I like the new way of play games with the wii like all the games out right now for the ps3i have them on my xbox 360

Well technically speaking you are going to get the same thing. A new console with nothing but ports. Actually I'd say they are some of the crumiest ports I've ever seen. Aside from Zelda, which can be played on the GC, there is nothing but mini games.
Do you play with alot of friends? If so, yeah this might be more fun than waiting from something to release on the PS3. Just don't get into all this hype with 60 year old's buying the Wii......the Wii is successful right now because it's targeting non-traditional gamers. If you like traditional games, there is really nothing like that on the Wii as of right now.

I suggest you check and see what games for the Wii are on retail shelves that you actually like and really want to play before buying it. There are only about 4-5 titles out for the Wii right now that I like or want. If the Wii was the only system I owned right now, I'd be bored out of my mind. Luckily I own a 360, PS2, DS Lite and PSP. So I have lots to play. I would say wait until SSBB, Metroid & Mario Galaxy are about to be released before getting the Wii. You're better off keeping your PS3 as this point, as you won't be able to sell it for more then what you already paided for it.

Your seriously going to regret that.

you joke but the fact remains that the only game to be banned in the UK in the past 10 years is a wii game......lol.
