I apologize PS3 owners (updated, PS3 returned, its not very good)

Well I own a 360, a Wii, and now a PS3. However before I owned the PS3 I bashed the system, said there were no games out for it, and criticized its interface harshly. I take all those things back, I realize none of them are true, especially now since I own the system. Why did I buy a PS3? Well I just got an HDTV, 360 games look great, and I heard that PS3 games do as well. I was also considering buying a HD-DVD player for $400 and said to myself "this format is lossing momentum, and why not spend $200 more and get a PS3 wiith a Blu Ray player"?. I just got the system about 40min ago,lol, so I can't say a whole lot. However I just set up my wireless and wow, easy and quick (Wii took forever). The entire interface is really nice, different from Live (thats for sure), and has a wealth of options. Well I'm going to go play some Resistance Fall of Man, once again sorry about what I said PS3 owners, this console kicks some major #$@ (as do the 360 and Wii!).

I also bought a PS2 last week, returned that, might as well since the PS3 basically has one built in!

Update 24 hours later

Yes maybe I'm a hippocrate in this case but oh well. 

The PS3 has been returned, the games have been returned (bought used), and I feel much better. The console really got me excited when I first got it, and playing RFOM was pretty cool (for an hour). However, after that it got really boring, the Motorstorm demo was dull (looks really nice though), and then I realized I bought a $600 paperweight.  It took me 3 times to get the GT HD demo, when I installed with the other dls I received error messages. Finally when I started the game it was pretty neat, but after 10 minutes I realized that PGR3 is much better (yea I know, not a fair comparion, PGR3 is a full game), not to mention it looks better, and that Froza 2 is just around the corner. After having the PS3 for 24 hours I realized it was a bad choice, there's very little out for it, its expensive (blu rays nice, but $35 movies are not), and that the console itself looks like a giant plastic rounded box. 

Here's what my local GS rep told me about the PS3 when I purchased Motorstorm for it

"I'm lucky to sell a PS3 game every week or two"

"They just sit in the back collecting dust"

I asked about 360 sales "There pretty steady, good amount are sold each week"

 Regarding the Wii "We only get 10 consoles a month now, Nintendo is holding the supply back"

Asked about PS3 sales "There hasn't been one sold in over a month"

Wow, after hearing all those things, reading everything that I have about the PS3, the excitement faded away fast. I'm have my 360 now, and realize it truly is the best console out there (Wii's still great too, just needs online play, and a few more games). It doesn't need a blu ray player, it doesn't need wifi, doesn't need memory slots I'll never use. However, it does have a large selection of games, GREAT games, and the best online system out there. I don't care if PSHome comes out in the fall, its not going to solve the mess that Sony has right now with its online system, and more importantly lack of games.  The current PS3 online system is a joke compared to XBOX Live, sure its free, but when it sucks what good is it for?

I feel as if a load has been lifited, well a $780 load (with the used games and what not),lol! Time to get Guitar Hero 2 for the 360 tomorrow!

Well I have never played the PS3 and I dont have to , for me to say it stinks....The price stinks, the "not so new" controller stinks, and the fact it doesnt have any games stinks.....HAVING SAID THAT...If the PS3 was a normal 300$, had angled the togles "like Xbox controler", and had more than RFOM as the only launch game...I would have bought one at launch....

Yeah the ps3 is great, I own all three systems while i feel the 360 is better its only becuase of the games that it has and the online experience is better, I got one at pal launch with 3 games, Rfom, Motorstorm and Vf5 + 2 br movies, Goodfellas and The Last Samurai, My impressions on the ps3 is that everything about it is next gen, It has next gen game Cases, Its optical drive is next gen, It has Wifi, A card reader it even looks more next gen than the others imo, The only thing is missing in the hardware department is a free headset other than that Sony has covered all its bases.

All they need to do is iron out some of the software problems, Make Bc full supported with every game and polish them up, Make Psn better, Include more demos, Videos and if the 360 has online for a particular game than the ps3 must, Have the Br movies downscale to 720p or make Br movies 480i/p, 720i/p, 1080i/p. Make the ps3 actually load the internet pages better and properly, Imo all these problems will get fixed it future updates and along with all the games its got and getting its a pretty good deal.

Well that would make since, but...I have used a PS/PS2 controller since 1995. They are still the exact same. They are "ok" but not as good as Xbox/360 controllers. So see...I have used something from the Sony line, YOU havent used anything on me"I hope"...and im not ugly..IM HOT!!!;)"so says my wife....;)

Now I can see with my own eyes the PS3 has no games..."no argument there"

The price is no argument either...we all know its too expensive.
