anyone else agree it the game looks like it can trump any game coming out within the next year, the graphics, the gameplay, hopefully the story, but after seeing more after e3 i believe this game will get a 10.00 anyone else agree?
from the videos i've seen, the voice acting is as bad as ever, and RE games have never really had that great of a story. but the gameplay looks great and the graphics are incredible. I'm going with 9.5, but that's nothing to scoff at. Day one for me for sure.

No he's right. No way did that game deserve a perfect 10. Not to say it's not a good game, but it was far from perfect. GTA4 as well for that matter.
Back to the subject at hand, I doubt it'll get a perfect score as well. RE4 didn't get one and RE5 looks like it's going to be pretty much the exact same thing.
It could. I see no reason why it wouldn't, except RE5 is just RE4 with great graphics and a new storyline. That might bring it down half a notch.dream431ca

9.0-9.5 most likely. I don't see it outscoring RE4 because RE4 had that wow factor. RE5 looks like RE4 with better graphics.chansaet
I still have a feeling GameSpot would give it a 10, though. I think Grand Theft Auto III was a hell of a lot more groundbreaking than IV, and the sequel still somehow managed to get a 10.
III changed the formula of the series completely and got a 9.6 IV didn't add as many new things and got a 10.

In GTAIV the story was more serious and everything was much more realistic. They took out anything that wasn't realistic enough (flamethrowers, Jetpacks, Katanas) to make the game feel a lot more realistic. I didn't think it deserved a 10 but they did change more than just graphics.

which sucked because flamethrower was totally FTW!!! since maybe the flamethrower is gonna be in COD5...maybe GTA5 (or a spinoff type name) will put it back in
