I brought the wrong console? PS3 or Xbox.

Im a PC gamer first but last year i thought i should buy a console because it had some good games that aren't on PC. But like most i had to decide which console to go for either the PS3 or Xbox 360. Im kinda regretting it now but i went with the Xbox 360. At the time it seemed to have better exsulsives over the PS3. Gears of War, Halo, Fable etc. I love gaming online on PC which was another reason i went with Xbox for Xbox live which i thought was much better at the time. And most of all it was just cheaper for casual gaming.

My thoughts on the Xbox.

1. Halo 3 sucks and is so overrated!
2. Xbox live is a joke and its shocking you have to pay monthly for Matchmaking.
3. M$ Charge you for themes, backgrounds crummy old 2d games what the hell am i paying Xbox live for?
4. No more new exclusives.
5. Other then GOW2 and Halo all my other games on PS3 anyway.
6. Gears of War would be the only game i would miss from the Xbox.

There are some epic titles on the PS3 which i really wanna play. And the blu-ray player will be great for my new HDTV. I know this is a console war thread but this ain't hate to the Xbox 360 i just really feel i would be better off with a PS3.

it is pretty bad when all systems require Internet Connection and the Xbox 360 doesn't have built in Wi-Fi nor Free Online. Oh well at least there's the Single player offline mode.

i actually prefer the 360 exclusives. i had both systems for a long time but recently sold my PS3 since i had a stand alone blu-ray player. i only have a netbook and a weak laptop soi dont game on PC.

Just had to point this out, most of your post is right and I agree, but ps3-themes.com (which you can search straight from your PS3, by the way) has thousands of awesome, free, custom made themes, and, if you're artsy, you can make your own with custom menu sounds and everything.

Sell your 360 and get a PS3, it fits much better with the PC and there aren't a ton of hidden/additional fee's.

You made a mistake... Bought the 360 most likely because your friends or the EUA media made you seem like was better but didn't went the extra mile to gather the facts and make a opinion by yourself.

There is no reason why a PC gamer should buy a 360 before buying a Ps3.

Great, buy a 299$ system for 3 downloadable games, one of which is going multiplat, and (usually) not a big difference in multiplats.

Bad move going from an PC to 360 which is essentially a poor mans PC. Like 80% of games on 360 can be played on PC so I see no reason, I suggest selling it and purchasing a PS3, free and superb online play which will only get better and not to mention the best exclusives to come out this gen. DO IT!

You should have done more research. You should have anticipated your wanting Blu-Ray with your future HDTV. I don't know what to tell you. You aren't alone in this world, but you can do what I did, and own both.

I have multiple HDTV's in the house, and because of that I own Two PS3's. Pretty nice for Blu-Ray's, and for the occassional LAN, or having access to games from the bed.:P

At least you liked and got to play GeoW.:P I like that series too.

Don't get a PS3, there not worth it, just keep the 360 please or get a Wii, you seem to not be really interested in a PS3 going by what you have posted so you should just stay with the 360, there's more value from 360 and its has the best exclusives

These were my options well heard when picking out a console.

Xbox

Cheaper for casual gaming, No difference in graphics, Better online with Xbox live, Halo 3, GOW2, Fable 2 bigger selection of games.

PS3

Exspensive, Why do i need a blu-ray player with no HDTV? PSN sucks, No MGS4, Uncharted 2, Killzone 2 and i thought they canceled Eight days and The Getaway.

Those were things i got from Xbox vs PS3 just seemed the PS3 was doing bad a few years ago.

you shouldn't switch console. there are some great exclusive and only console games coming for the xbox 360. you could save some money and also buy a ps3. but selling a console is stupid
