@sakaixx: IYO, sure you can say that but factually, no. Reviews are still opinions and some being more biased than others. You're giving a lot of weight into what others think of a game. Personally from what I've played of Zelda and the fact that I've completed GOW4, I'd say Zelda is better but that's just my opinion.

But God of War is an amazing game. No denying that.

Well more sites are listed this year than last year, second BOTW blew out Horizon and Mario Odyssey while GoW didn't with RDR2 behind them.

I guarantee you BOTW won at a better rate than GoW.

They're both really great games. But i enjoyed GoW more than BOTW

Both are really impressive games.

I'm just personally more in awe of what Breath of the Wild did.

Botw is the first zelds game ive played and i bought my switch just for it. Cnt say its better than gow but im amaze how this game is so simple but done beautifuly.

Yep. And the critics are just opinions, that a lot of times don't align with players. This happens for movies too. Look at rotten tomatoes and you can see critical successes where the user reviews are in the 20-30% range., polar opposites and it goes vice versa too. This happens with games a lot to.

Personally there have been too many reviews that don't jive with my thoughts on a game. Case in point, I loved Obsidian's Alpha Protocol last gen. Reviewers all gave it 60% scores. I also liked Technomancer this gen that got panned by critics. People have different opinions and that's fine.

What I don't like is the reviewers who base off ideology or agenda. You have critics belonging to an west coast echo chamber where they push ideology and agenda in their reviews and will review something not because of how good a game is but will ding it for not pushing whatever social agenda the verified twitter pussy hat mob and technocrats are reeeeeing against that day.
