Yes, everyone here is very good at putting the word 'flop' on any game name. I think that the developers who make these games are aware that their games will flop, so therefore they make the name of the game in such way that incorporating the word 'flop' is easy and intuitive, unlike their games.
To me Heavenly Sword is such a game, a flop of such magnitude deserves a name to compliment it - Heavenly Flop.

Actually Lair is not the full name... it was first designated as Flop Air, with the flying dragons etc. However Sony immediately recognized it and re-arranged some letters.

Really I wouldn't care if Heavenly Sword flopped. I would still get it anyway, the chick is pretty hot, and if they get the skirt just short enough it won't be a flop for me when I'm playing it.

I want this game to be good. Hopefully it will be in the same league as other action-adventure games like DMC, GOW, and Prince of Persia.strudel420
Expect it to suffer just on this point. If it takes too much from GoW it will not be very original. It's no doubt that Heavenly Sword looks great, but so did MotorStorm. It will be a fun action-adventure, no doubt, however it will not be revolutionary or as original, therefore in the 8.5-8.9 range.

It's not exactly the most original game, now is it? Either the story has to be perfect, or the game play must surpass that of God of War, otherwise it will be completely over-shadowed by God of War, since it sets the standard for such games. Much like how Diablo II still overshadows every hack and slash RPG.

It's slogan would be "Two times the FLOP for the price of one!!!" Or how about a game called "Flip?" "Flip-flop?" Or maybe "Belly?" "Belly-flop?" Endless possibilities to incorporate the word "flop" into a game name.
Blast from the past!!! I did a search on "Heavenly Flop" and found this one from back in March. Heavenly Sword hasn't flopped on GS yet, but it has on IGN:
