This game is unbelievable. Heres what i have done so far. 1-1, 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 3-2. ive been through tears and laughter already. ive been owned countless times in 1-1, 2-2, left the game for a week but couldnt get my mind off of it. figured out some new things when i started playing again (losing alot of souls takes a toll on you, especially when it comes when you decide to take a fall of faith onto a platform when you should be concentrating on getting back to your carcus). I have stopped playing now as i have been playing for i think around 15 hours since 3am this morning (not straight). BTW i try really hard not to use any of the guides as they truly do spoil the experience for THIS GAME especially. I recommend not using a guide unless you reach a point where you think you have something figured out but u just cant risk it (or boss battles cuz ive been scarred by them)
I'm loving it, i'm currently at Soul Level 56 and have defeated my first Archdemon. I'm just grinding right now.

im not grinding at all and im at slvl 31, getting by just fine. i dont know how i got it but i have a sick sword that automatically hits with fire, this thing destroys everything. and im a royal so u know i got them spells ready too when i creep up on them creeper demons i just fire the spell, and if im feeling gangsta i just run them down with the sword.
Anyone who uses any sort of guide for this game automatically removes any point to even playing the game.... I guess if you suck, and already put down your $60 and just wanna get through it... then okay... I guess.

If i'm stuck at a certain part of the game I would rather go look at a guide then waste my time doing almost nothing.
I think I would like this game a lot better if I didn't have problems summoning blue phantoms. It fails 50% of the time. The other thing I really hate is I must have bad ping to their servers because often times I get backstabbed when the opponents aren't even near me.
I know right? I really love this game. Just today I got to play spoiler for two people as a black phantom it was awesome. I love the PvP experience such awesome fights.
The servers are down right now but when they start up again I'll be playing it some more.

Its awesome, i have a level 120 Royal(Asian Copy) not sure if its called a Royal on the N/A version. Its amazing and not has hard as some people think. Im on 5-4 then the old one and on to a new game plus.
Amazing game, the experience is unlike anything i've ever played.
I just dislike how hard it is to play CO-OP with people you know =/
im just hoping they have already started on the sequal Right Now, because this is an experience that i keep thinking about the ending and how my first time will be over soon :(. Demons Souls 2 - Demonic Lust - Only On the Playstation 3.

The excuse given by the creator was that he didn't want people playing with other people they knew-- he wanted it to be a lonely experience where u have to trust strangers loosely or something like that to make the experience seem less friendly. There's an article somewhere.

I could have beat it under 40 hours, but I pushed the game to 50+ after I found a good spot to level up. It all depends on the speed you want to play it.
Definately a most excellent dungions and dragons kinda game. It reminds me of those old choose a path novels like deathtrap dungion. If deathtrap dungion was a game, it would be exactly like this.
I also agree you shouldn't use a guide. I see alot of people calling bosses by their developer names straight from a guide and whole stratigy for defeating them, which is weak, as far as I know it's just called "massive flaming spider that kills you" and "Huge dude that also kills you"

Yea, it's called Royal on the NA version as well. Also - it could be easier for you because you are playing as the class which everyone has deemed to be the best class to start with, saying it is the easiest to play with. :P

I'm about 15 hours in and have killed bosses in 1-1 1-2 and 4-1 only lol Enjoyingh every bit it.
