Of best games of 2007, over god of war. Why is this happening? I have no idea, but at least, not at least, every site has that game listed as best of 2007. Over games that are worthy of it. UNcharted, mass effect, sometimes SMG, and R&C TOD get ignored but, in every top 10 list crackdown is on it. I am wondering why the heck this is occuring? It isn't even close to best games of 2007.numba1234Dude did you play the game yourself? If you did you would understand why. It is the most fun game I played this year. The fun factor is all that counts.
You cant deny that kicking people hundreds of feet isnt fun.Cooldude224The DLC added more life to the game. Harpoon gun FTW.

It was funny to watch them get drag along the street. or sometimes I would just drive the car myself off a ramp into the river.
I loved Crackdown... that was one of the games I played for awhile. I would have like the campaign to be a little longer with more enemies and some cut scenes and a little more story. It definitely sucked me in for the first half of the year. I'm glad is getting the attention it deserves now.

I played it at a friend's and I didn't like it at all. I thought that the menu's were extremely confusing, there was only one save slot (which was extremely irritating), and I felt like the combat was extremely mindless.
But of course, this is just my opinion. I haven't played a sandbox game that I've liked since GTA III. If you like the game then that's great!

you do know that the one save slot is tied to your gamertag. So you just log into a diff gamer tag and you have an open slot...

Even so, I find that a bit laborious. The only thing your gamertag should be tied to is online, and it should be selectable in-game. It is too confusing for the average person to enter and exit the game in order to free up a save slot.

Thanks to the DLC I found a glitch that allow me to jump about 1000 meters in the air and land on the other island XD .
It's hard to explain how , but it's insanely fun to do :P especialy when you play online and the guy see you do it , you always end up hearing "THE HELL !"
I couldn't get into the demo. GTA meets Hulk Ultimate Destruction. Not my cup of tea. I'm not the kind of gamer who likes to roam around aimlessly tossing cars. The single player was yawntastic and the free roaming is for ppl who don't want to play a game..they just wanna run around throwing cars.
Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk > Crackdown

This is one of the reasons why I love Crackdown!
Had you played it you would know why.
Hitting your buddy with a car as he jumps from roof to roof FTW.
