Actually as sick as it seems......I pre-ordered mine like three months ago (when it was $99,99) and I'm keeping it.  These Limited Editions are supposedly extremely limited from what the guys at Bungie said and other articles I've read.

*Raises Hand* I will not buy a collectors edition unless it offers a free games or something along those lines. Extra money for a case and behind the scenes crap. I just want to play the game.

The only special edition of a game I would spend $100 on (I would never spend $130) would be resident evil 5. I could care less about the halo special edition and I'm not going to buy the regular edition until I can get it for $50 or lower.
