well look at the numbers, everyone says that gamespot is biased towards the 360 but it seems they are on average with thier scores compared to other sites and magazines, if anything gamespot is above average with PS3 reviews, not by much but they are above.

give them time i must say, they've only been out for months not years.  Anyhoo 360 games are consistantly the same score, personally i don't want to buy 50 mediocre games (e.g. PDZ, Burnout, Viva Pinata) i would much prefer an elite selectionist collection of great games (e.g. gears of war, FORZAAAA 2, rainbow six vegas)

And yet X360 still really only has two games worth buying - Gears and Oblivion.

PDZ was Great, not SUPERB like gamespot gave the score, but don't call viva pinata mediocre, it's a great game, and burnout too.

I mean it tries to do something different, meaningful, or artistic.

Like Viva Pinata.  It failed as a game, and thus isn't worth buying, but it had redeeming content.

I would argue that it's people who buy generic, rehashed games like any Tom Clancy game, 99% of sports games, online multiplayer fragfests, etc. are the ones who aren't real gamers.
