color me suprised. lets see if SK can get it down this time. more than likely a 360 exclusive since MS bought the rights to the entire franchise thinking it would rake in the cash.

I knew it was a trilogy, but I also remember MS buying the rights to it in 05 for 80 Million, th reason i was suprised was because it soldan average amount. I mean in regards to its budget and amount of money payed for it it is pretty suprising that a corperation like MS(or any for that matter gave it a second chance, even after saying they weren't giving up on it.)

To be fair it was probably do to the really long dev cycle being developed since Ps1 afterall...

They could pull an Uncharted with the sequel (UC: DR was ok, UC2 is praised everywhere). We'll see.

anyways yeah, the amount of time and money they spent making Too Human wasn't evident in the game's final quality, which came across like a low-budget cash-in

we'll see if the franchise is worthy of hype, i actually kept my copy of the first game but lord knows SK really needs to work on the second game

Happy day! There was so much potential in the first one - here's hoping the developers are able to fully realize it this time.

True but it was a good game despite being a little rough as you said... Starfox Adventures , Kameo, Dragon Age, PD:Zero were good games too despite long dev cycles but they all feel like polished last gen titles in a way with a new bits added.

Luckily Dragon Age and Too Human get a chance to relize their potential.

That's cool. While it certainly had it's problems I finished that game at least 3 times. Coop was fun. If they can fix the enemy balancing issues and tighten up the graphics it should be a decent sequel.

Yea it helps that MS has their back I mean wasn't Killzone called mediocre and Guerilla did not even have a good gaming background and they improved it alot in the sequel.

Sillicon Knights have an excellent track record with games and I am sure they will greatly improve the sequel with it being from the ground up on the 360

Anyway this was something i always hoped would happen. So many great ideas in the first game and im sure they know what the flaws were. If they work on them, i have no doubt it could achieve AAA status. I also hope they start developing the game with 4 player co-op from the beginning. Tacking it on in the end wont work as they should have learnt.

To those 360 owners that havent played it, you can get it off Amazon UK for £1.91 used.

For what it's worth, I hope it turns out to be good and they fix all the problems.

God, I hope this game comes out. But I don't know whether I want it to be really bad or really really good.

If anything, it would be a chance to do some good with the series' name. The first one wasn't that bad, but it had its problems. Time for SK to show they can improve their mistakes.
