I dont get what makes Metal gear solid 4 so good.

for starters the main character isnt that tommy lee jones himself, dresses like a ninja, i dont get it, is it gameplay, graphics or whatRaptimusPrime

its gameplay, graphics, and story. in my opinion.

Story is good though, should really just be a novel. I think I might enjoy it more in text form, yet some of the characters are too much to explain on paper.

Well, MGS4 I'm not sure. It looks like it has good gameplay and its the conclusion to a story that has been going on since the first Metal Gear game came out.

But what makes the series good? For starters, the story which is probably the main reason every MGS-verteran is hyping MGS4. The unique gameplay, music, atmosphere is all good. Its an experience that no other game really gives.

this thread is so pointless.....the game hasnt even been released and it wont matter if its leaked because the ps3 hasnt been cracked yet, so were gonna have to wait till june to even start talking about this game with the public playing itlinkin_guy109

it happens with every game unfortunately, im just gonna try and avoid all of the spoilers that will be popping up when people start getting copies early. but who knows maybe the game will just start popping up in peoples houses like a week before release, thats best case scenario im thinking

yeah pretty crazy, who knows how they finished it so ahead of time, makes you wonder how much work they put into this game for them to be able to finish it that early compared to other games, man.....only 1 more month...one month today and this game will be out

And I dont get what makes people make threads like this when they dont even try an play the series first. Have u even went and read any of the hands on previews for MGS4? If u did then u would prolly know why the series is good and why MGS4 is going to be big. Everyone has there opinion and I can let that slide but what gets me is why make these type threads when all these other game sites already have previews on why the game is going to be great. Its like some1 writing a topic saying why is Gears of war 2 so good and they have never played it before, see where im coming from? :)

Go play a few MGS games then come back and ask your questions. IMO its gameplay, story, graphics and online multi that will make this game AAA on GS next month.

Your question can be asked about GEOW and all other big games with sequels.

I agree with the TC the first game put me to sleep in 5 minutes i eventually trade it, the only reason cows are hyping this game is because this is the only high-medium average game the ps3 will have in like a 2 years.liberty71441

U must not like great games if the first put u to sleep. The first one was like the first of its kind to be made and was an awesome expirience with one of the best boss fights all packed in one game. U sleeping after 5 minutes was the worst thing u can do because mgs 1 was my favorite out of all 3 but oberall the series has been awesome. I dont know how anyone who enjoys a stealth action game could hate on the mgs series. MGS4 will be epic and people like u will wonder how in the hell did this game get such high reviews. Have fun missing out on one of the best games this year. :P

well not everyone has to like the MGS series, but clearly liberty71441 is much more of a hater/fanboy to state its a high-medium average game when talking about MGSIV... Reality though no one has played the game yet, but signs are great , coming from what people in the gaming industry said, we're in for a fantastic game, a privilege which only PS3 owners can experience :)

Can't wait to get my hands on this epic game, a conclusion of the greatest series ever made !!!

The story and the characters is the main reasons IMO.

this game going to be a huge dissapointment for ppl who never played mgs, im sure most ppl are buying this for the graphics. this game is really too serieus. and halo story is much better. but still this game gonna rock. ALTAIR360
