I don't get why people by a 360

There are no good games that aren't on PC/PS3

No MGS

No Blu Ray

The only reason I can think of is because you can play with friends. That's a bad reason IMO

I don't get why Gamespot hasn't made it so users can't make threads/posts until they've reached, at least, level seven.

i have a ps3, and im still going to go against you on somethings.

1) they have exclusives (not goty's) but still they do.

2) MGS is coming to the 360

3) yea having no blu ray sucks, especially since you cannot play huge games on one disc

4) you can play with friends on both, so your last point isnt really good.

5) yes its more expensive to buy in the end.

to some up, not all your points are good but some are. Id still say that people like the 360 for its unique games and people like the ps3 for its own unique stuff.

It has a good amount of visual novels and SHMUPs.

More AAAe's and AAe's and those 360/PC multiplats.

It's called personal preferrence, what's there to understand? Some people prefer the controller, XboxLive whether you think so or not is seen as superior to PSN by alot of people (and for the record I've had more connection problems out of my PS3 than my 360 though neither are bad), if you don't have a gaming PC then the only way you'll play Gears, Halo, Mass Effect, ect... is if you have a 360.

First of all, comparing on system's library to PS3/PC isn't entirely fair. Secondly, Halo 3? Gears 2? Fable 2? Plus, almost all of my friends have a 360, whereas only one or two have PS3s, making online play much better on the 360.

I don't need to argue with an opinion (and no matter how many "points" you make that's all it is). Like I said it's personal preferrence. And you're not going to bait me into some sort of flame war. An answer like that is bordering on trolling. Not everyone has a gaming PC and if you don't there are alot of games you can only play on the 360, and YOU can't argue with that.

Especially since , they want to factor it in as a key feature, but disregard the fact BD discs are more expensive and would cost more in the long run...

yeah because who wants to play games with friends.....

oh wait.. I do!... seeing as how they are all across the country now at college and this is one of the few ways i can stay and touch and have fun. This is the best reason to own a console.

the games are better overall on 360 ps3 had a slower start

Yes I have, I owned a stand alone and owned Batman Begins, Dark Knight, both Madagascars and Quantum of Solace. I have an HDMI connection and have my HDTV optimized for theater quality and yet would tell you Dark Knight was the only BD movie worth the format...

They should bring out the Xbox 720.

The problem is that the you don't get why people by a 360. The premise of your post is that you're confused. Sorry... that's not a strong position to start off with. You may want to change that tactic next time around. The truth of the matter is that people are buying the 360 DESPITE the points you made. So either nearly 30 million people are wrong or there's something fundametally wrong with your points.

I tend to think the latter.

To answer your question, I can only speak for myself. The 360 provides a much better sense of community and a more seamless gaming experience where its features are well thought out and thoroughly integrated.
