At the end of the video they show pc, 360 and ps3, and the pc version is way better than the console versions which look identical.

dunno why gamespot would say that 360 is worse than ps3, while other reviewers didn't say it.

I dont see why Borderlands got an 8.5 on xbox 360 when the only difference was the network and that got fixed. Dragon age had at least much significant differences.

console versions look equal and ugly. the pc version is 30 times better and has the zoom.

as for the consoles review, the fact that gamespot gave to the ps3 9 and 8.5 is really beyond me.

dont worry GS is having a graphics comparison between ps3 and 360 for this very game, and it should put all the lemmings here to shame

and what are the significant differences? only gamespot saw them, actually. the videos speaks for it. the console versions look the same, ugly, but the same.

i wish kevin would explain to us here in SW the difference between all platforms.

Kevin-V

What more do you need to know that isn't in the review? There is a whole paragraph dedicated to the visual differences, and scattered information relating to the interface, the level of challenge, and the gameplay. I think it's all mostly covered. One thing I didn't really mention regarding load times: On the 360, the game pauses for the duration of the autosave. On the PS3, it pauses just briefly, and then continues while the autosave continues. Dragon Age is not open world--there are frequent load times, and if you play games, you know that load times can interfere with the pace. Shorter load times make for a smoother experience, particularly in a 50+ hour game. I am no developer, but my theory regarding the differences between the console versions is relatively simple: The 360 version has to run off of the disc, and a DVD holds less information than a Blu-Ray. This may be one of those occasions where a required PS3 install and a more spacious disc may benefit the game.

well comming from kevin V himself.

PS3 owners got shafted with Borderlands, the ps3 version getting .5 lower than its 360 counterpart due to network issues, as well. But Dragon Age implies much more than network infrastructure complications : the 360, according to Kevin of GS, is noticeably worse in the visual department than the PS3 version, while benefiting from smoother framerates. Despite this, Kevin awarded PS3's DA:O with a 9.0, since he deems that the visual fidelity in the PS3 version largely outweighs the smoother framerate in the 360 version, and the PS3 version's framerate issues are quite tolerable to the 360's highly compressed, unsharpened textures.

The reviewer says that the 360 version has a more stable framerate , but the PS3 version has better textures, facial animations, and color saturation. I guess having those 3 things warrant a Editors Choice award , or at least a .5 over the 360 version. Strange.

well DA PS3 version is averaging 91 critic score while 360 version 89. so there might be a difference. and i agree with you a comparison would settle this.

i dont understand why people still go by videos. im sure the games will look a bit better on your own tv.
