I dont think there's a reasson to own a XBOX 360 anymore :(

Allright so i own a ps3/gaming rig and my little brother has a wii. with the recent price cut i ve been very tempted to get brand new elite, but while doing research online i got to the conclusion where the only exclusive games worth buying the console for are Halo and Gears of war, after that there is nothing, nada zero zip!

Please lemms tell me i m wrong a provide me with an awesome list of exclusive games only playble on the 360 ( pc games dont count)

Gears of War 2, Halo (3, ODST, Reach), Crackdown (1 & 2), Fable (2 & 3), Forza (2 & 3), Alan Wake (no longer PC apparantly), GTA 4 Liberty City Stories from the top of my head.

I don't have a gaming rig, so I am extremely happy to own one right now. Mass Effect 2, Splinter Cell Conviction, Alan Wake, Divinity 2....my 360 will be getting plenty of use.

Sure there is. It still has exclusives that are not available on the PC or the PS3. or if you have a PC, but want to play with your friends on the 360. It all depends on your individual preferences amongst other factors like disposable income, worth, etc. So please, don't say there's no reason, because there are an infinite amount of reasons, from the most valid (in your opinion) to the most stupid (like someone preferring the start up sound).

I was in the same boat not too long ago, then i realized there really arnt very many xbox games that i am interested in. So instead of paying all that money to buy an xbox, and the games (which you show little interest in) go buy a couple of PS3 games and take your girlfriend to dinner. Then when there is a must have xbox game go play it at a friends.

I dont understand the argument that if you have a PC you get to play all of top the 360 games, the only notable titles that I can think of that 360 and PC share are Gears of war 1, Mass Effect, and maybe left 4 dead, beyond that their isn't much. While the 360 currently has the largest selection of AA and up rated exclusive games.

I'm in the same boat considering my taste in games.... and I've never been that much of a Halo fan. Beyond Gears , the exclusive library looks verydull to me at the moment. There doesn't even seem to be much for me to play online either eventhough that is supposed to be a 360 strength.I just don't see it right now. I'll justbe hooked into paying $50 per year for hardly nothing to play online whilefunding features I won't even use like twitter, facebook , and whatever else they tack on to the servicebesidesgreat exclusive online games.

Of course there is no reason for you to own 360 if you already ownpc/ps3/wii just like there is no reason for me to own Honda if I already have Toytota and a bike. The more of same you own the less you going to need of the same product but by different company. if you were just to own one console or two at most now thats a different story.

If i am to own 360 then i will enjoy not only 360 exclusives but lots of pc games which do not come to ps3 for the most part and it helps that most of the mutliplatform games run better on 360 then on ps3.

If i was to own ps3 I would enjoy lots of great ps3 exclusives and lots of great 360/ps3 multiplaform games but miss out on lots of pc/360 games.

I came to the same conclusion when considering buying a PS3. I have a Wii, PC, and 360. Why would I drop $300 to play 3 games when I could put that money into my current systems?

Gears 2, GTA IV DLC, Shadow Complex, Halo ODST, Forza 3, Alan Wake, Halo Reach, Crackdown 2, Fable 3. Come on, man. 360 has plenty of good exclusives here and on the way.

Anyway, you seem to be on gaming overdose. With all those systems there is really no reason to buy a 360 unless you have no life, or are rich and bored.

There's pretty much no reason for me to own a 360 now other than Mass Effect/Mass Effect 2. I don't touch my roommates 360 except if I'm going to play Madden or something (2k5 for life!) My 360 is at my house so the PS3 and Wii are the systems that I personally have with me up here in campus. My reason for getting the 360 originally was Gears of War (because of the fresh gameplay and overall quality). Then Uncharted came out, and the bar had been set for a shooter where you ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS IN THE STORY. Not to mention that there were colors in Uncharted other than red, grey, brown, and white. To me the PS3 probably won't have any of those big system seller games (other than MGS4, GoW, GT5, Uncharted 2, FF13vs, and maybe Agent). But, like I've said ALL ALONG. Sony has the franchises, Xbox 360 has the exclusives, but weak number of quality franchises. With the PS3, I know what I'm going to get because when I had my PS2, I got games from developers I've learned always does it right (Insonmiac, Sony Santa Monica, etc).

Not here to add to the SW chaos, but that's just the way I feel. It's not even about the systems, it's just about the games I want, lol.

Yeah, agreed. I sold mine after playing through 2007's big three of BioShock, Mass Effect and Halo 3 and seeing nothing else on the horizon. Bought a high-end PC instead (kept one 360 controller to play certain types of games) and haven't looked back. :D

Mass Effect 2 that's it!!! My Xbox broke (AGAIN!!!!!) and it'swas out of warranty so I sold it to Gamestop for $45 as is. I got a new PS3 slim and I love it, I'm not missing the 360 at all. Also I don't have to cross my fingers everytime I turn the thing on.

Yeah... I looked into get an Arcade when it dropped to $199 (Before I had my PS3, and only my Wii).

I was like, "Okay, I don't need a hardrive, so I need some memory cards. Oh yeah! A wireless adapter too!... Oh... and I need to pay for live, and a headset?... There's also the chance of the RROD occurring... Okay. Screw this."

Then I looked into the games, and didn't see anything good at all...

Well, this is the first gen that i se no reason to have more than one console. Ive allways had 2 consoles per gen: Mastersystem/Nes, Megadrive/Snes, Playstation/N64 and Xbox/PS2. The fact is that 360 has almost everything PS3 has also better looking/performing multiplats and some of the best PC games. Perfect....at least to me :P

True. Still, i wonder why ppl allways say that if you have a PC then PS3 is the obvious choise. This doesnt make any sense since in fact 360 has more "real" exclusives than PS3.
