I don't understand the hate

I'm obviously new here. I read these forums everyday and just today I felt the need to start an account. I realize this is system wars but I mean come on... All i see is hate towards ps3 from lemmings and hate towards xbox360 from cows. I really don't care about the wii (and I know however millions of people will say otherwise). The truth is I bought a 360 first, sold it then bought a ps3. Anyways, after I saw previews for ninja gaiden 2 I just had to buy a 360.

My question is, why can't people admit that some games are gonna rock on other systems. I suppose you can consider me a cow first and foremost, but I mean LOOK AT NINJA GAIDEN 2!! How can any cow deny the shear awesomeness of this game? Furthermore, how can any lemming deny the awesomeness that is MGS4??

My point? Quit being scrubs, get some jobs and buy both systems. And don't give me any of this "xbox doesn't have games that appeal to me" or "ps3 has s**ty games". Real gamers will own both (and even a pc).

Ya know, these topics always make sense but they never help. Just some advice to a new person(if you really are new)....Welcome to gs though..worst of the dirty dozen xD

Yea I realize that this is not a necessary topic, what with all the hundrends of other rants I read on here everyday. I guess I'm just trying to stress the fact that every gamer can truly enjoy both systems. I mean I found my 360 (used) in the paper for just over $100. And that's all it takes to save the hassle of wondering if you made the right decision.

I hate lemmings and Cows.

Especially Cows who are willing to miss out on so many great games, but both sides miss out and ignore great titles.

I own both and June will be a great month. MGS4 and NG2 in the same month.

Hey man I'm not hating on the wii. I never said the wii sucks or the games are for children. I just really don't feel it's a step in the next gen direction. I think the controllers are pretty lame to be honest. Chughead

I pretty much ignore Wii talk. I have 0 interest in the games and will not bother to argue ninty's great game crafting skills. Even though I personaly do not like ninty games any longer.

I played and recognize SMG's greatness, but I am not a huge fan.

The Wii is just not my kind of console and not part of the debate for me.

While I doubt that you're new to the forums, I do agree with you about the hate. I don't see hate from PS3 to 360 as often, but rather hate from 360 to ps3. Either way though, it makes me sick. I love both my 360 AND my PS3.AmyMizuno

I see it the other way around but I agree.

I mention Dead Rising until I am blue in the face. I think its time a made a sig with DR so I don't have to anymore.

But I wish that game was ported to the ps3 and not Lost Planet. I really hate Lost Planet. A bad example of what the 360 has been getting.

Dude, I am not sure how long exactly you've coming here, but honestly, it used to be so much worse than this. this is nothing!! Last year, the lemmings were out of control bashing the PS3. Cows pretty much had no response other than RROD and "you're paying for Live, it's P2P...".

I personally, putting the RROD issue aside, think that the 360 offers a little better gaming experince than the PS3 at this point in time. I think Sony is on track to overcome that though. they just need to make PSN better or equal to Live and they need to enable Logitech's controller that is a clone of the 360 controller to work on the PS3 somehow because the 360's controller is much better IMO with many games specially FPS. That will pretty much make the PS3 as good as the 360 if not better due to better graphics (at some point) and reliability.

I just find it pecular that you would use the word 'cow' and 'lemming' in your first post. I didn't learn the terminology until I was atleast level 5 xD.

With the Wii still being so hot, and then GS gave SMG GoTY.

They were not afraid to attack anyone because they were so sure that the Wii could do no wrong.

Same way you don't care for the Wii, some don't care for the 360 and others the PS3. And even some with the PC. And so on. I do agree that this hate bashing should stop. But what can you do?

No, I do not think so. But I ignore most reviews anymore because I almost never, ever agree with them.

The best review I read last year was the Heavenly Sword review IMO. They gave it an 8.0, but if you read it I think he nailed the game dead on.

To many people look at scores and dont read the review. He desribed what I think is an outstanding game dead on. And justified his scoring.

But I think they try and be objective and balanced.

I would not want to review games. Gamers are mean, whinney, unreasonable folk these days.

wow 100, only problem is if it breaks down, is that covered under the warrenty? cuz it switched hands i dont think it does, if it werent for the hardware reliability i would get a 360 prolly not live but at least a 360

To the original post. I don't "Hate" any system, but at times I feel like one system I own is giving me more love than the other. I have all three, but out of the ones I have right now, the least used system I own is PS3.

Partly because I own one game for it and it's Motorstorm. A game I don't care too much for, because frankly... it's not my genre. I only like few racing games, but the racing genre in general is not my cup of tea. I could buy more games though, but that requires money I don't have and MGS 4 is on reserve. I just have to wait a little longer. (But MGO Beta will help. :D )

But the PS3 and 360 DONT have good games. I've played them and they don't. Only Wii games are any good.

After viewing acemasters profile, I don't think he owns a 360 or ps3. And I think he just hates ps3. How does one give Assassins creed on 360 10/10 but ps3 1/10? Better yet, how does one give A big handful of major ps3 titles 1.0 if he owns one but not the same for 360
