this is just a small taste of Wii's 2007 lineup. Sheep, explain why must you hype every game?

only 2 of those games (NMH, RE:UC) have been reciving real hype.

I think it is a defense mechanism for us sheep, we had/have not many games, lemmings bashed us for it, and now that some really interesting games are going to come out, we fell the need to gloat. As for myself, i choose not to embarass myself hyping games when you can't really tell the outcome

Why were Prey Chromehounds and motorstorm hyped? ( these are just examples.)

Resident Evil is hyped because RE4 rocked, No More Heroes is hyped because Killer7 rocked, BWii is hyped because it has online and Battalion Wars rocked. The other two you just randomly picked.

Why were Prey Chromehounds and motorstorm hyped? ( these are just examples.)grapefruit21

Prey was hyped because it was a game that was FINALLY going to release after nearly a decade of waiting (or maybe it WAS a decade). I remember reading about Prey in a really really really old magazine, I bet I still have it somewhere. Chromehounds never got any serious hype, but its still got its following due to a pretty in-depth online experience. Motorstorm was hyped because it looks really sweet.

No More Heroes: because it's from Suda51, and his games are...different. It's not going to be AAA, but it'll be a fresh experience, guranteed. Mario Strikers Charged: this is about as hyped as Loco Roco 2. BWii: Because it's a solid title with an improved interface and online play, both cooperative and head to head. RE:UC: Probably because the game it's drawing its gameplay mechanics from was a 9.6 GOTY game. That might have something to do with it. PoP:Rival Swords: This game is trash. Anyone who doesn't agree is fakeboying.
