I don't understand why everyone bashes the PS3.

Just because It doesnt have any good games at the moment, doesnt mean its going to be like that forever. Every time I enter system wars, all I see are threads like "PS3 is crap, xbox360 is better" and the reason why it is so expensive is because of the Blu-ray technology.

Now don't get me wrong, I am not a sonyfanboy, I own an xbox360. It's just that It doesnt make sense the way some people on these boards full on spit at the Ps3 just because of no games. Give it some time, I'm sure the PS3 will be as good as the 360.

I don't get why people believe that stuff in the Bible is real, but they do. I do however understand people saying the PS3 is crap cause it has great competition this time around(Xbox360)

I don't look at the Wii as a threat cause it basically is just another Nintendo gimmick with poor graphics which may possibly take second since the PS3 is overpriced garbage but it'll never be number 1 with it's limited capabilities

I guess it's wrong to bash a game system because it has no games, you're right.  I guess nobody's allowed to say anything bad about the Gamecube then.

And secondly, it's not just $600 bucks because of the Blu-Ray, but also because of Wi-Fi.  Now, I have an Xbox 360 and I want Wi-Fi, so I paid for it.  I don't want HD-DVDs so I didn't pay for it.  Some people are happy enough to plug their 360 in with an ethernet cable, so they don't have to pay for Wi-Fi.  It's the same with the hard drive, wireless controllers and all the rest of the features the 360 offers that you don't necessarily want.  You can still get the system without having to pay for all the bells and whistles.  So yeah, $600 is ridiculous for someone who won't use all of the PS3's features.  Couple that with the fact that it has a meager game library, and there's not much reason to buy it at the moment.

I remember a time when EVERYONE hated Microsoft. "They stole from apple" (In one way or another). Windows is ulitmately flawed and an imperfect system, put into everyones computer. Remember the anti trust anyone? I see him trying to buy out the gaming market. Now that Xbox is hot, no one cares about bill gates. Really funny how much of two faced liars most of you are.

As for the why people bash the PS3?

Some people want to think their money is worth more than other' people's money. Makes them have something to smile about with their crappy jobs and insecure little life.

I think the biggest reason why we bash the PS3 is because Sony failed to deliver on their delusional promises.

The hype and expectations were so high, Sony's comments and statements were so ridiculous and cocky....so seeing them in troubled waters is just asking for a bashing.

No one's denying that the PS3 is a great potential for future games....but some things that Sony did with the PS3 is a little upsetting. For one, I hate it how they're shoving Blu-Ray tech down our throats, using their PS3 and the consumers just so they can make a ton more money in the format/movie business....is it even about games anymore? Two, I hate how they think their brand name alone will some how appease customers to ignore its hefty price thinking we'll buy anything. Three they're getting a little greedy don't you think? And four.....I don't like their arrogance.

They displayed the same arrogance and bashing against the DS when they launched the PSP and look who's laughing now!
