i dont want to offend ps3 owners but ..

i dont want to offend ps3 owners but most of them ( which i have met) are really unexplainable( silly)

i work in agames shop and i get people complaining why the ps3 has hardly any games out, or how they didnt like teh games

i usually ask the people how much they paid for it and most say around about 400 english pounds (around about 800 us dollars)

then i ask what games they play and they say resistance or motorstorm,but they then go on to say they dont really like them.

then i ask ( in the most polite way possible) what games did you get your ps3 for,

and they say grand theft auto,and the ones that dont say devil may cry, fifa or pro evo(which are really big in england) or dont really know them selves.

all of us in teh shop agree that before you buy a 400 quid console you want to do some research on it, especially games.

would you pay 400 for something you dont know anything about?

its the sony brand effect, the same reason people buy the psp, infact all the people i know with a ps3 has a psp.

dont get me wrong i would get a ps3 but the only game i want is mgs4, so why pay 350 + 50 for teh sake of one game?

its only my opinion but you must beable to reflect on this, especially those who work in games shops.

by teh way i loooved the ps2 and ps1 they were awesome :D

But the ds is the king of handhelds, and the Wii is the king of sales; both of which are the exact opposite for sony

Meh, the loading times are really fast for some games.

And only a few of the PSP games are PS2 ports.

Fair enough their arnt as much as Xbox 360 games out there, but they are sure as hell more than Wii games.

People with PS2 had to wait for good games. Japan didnt get any games at launch for god sakes, yet it outsold both Xbox and GC together. PS3 aint got the games probably at the moment for people like you, but it doesnt explain why a console with such less games is outselling a 360 at this day and age.

seriously you shop will go bust soon enough, when i go in your stores all i see it year old phones for prices people wont pay and second hand pc's, our shop did second hand phones for about a week :D

the ps2's biggest selling point was the dvd player. then because the install base went up,all the devs started making games for it
