You better get it, or else. The game is a modern classic and is everything a game should strive to be. The graphics are fantastic, the music is glorious, and the story isn't too shabby. The game sold poorly on the PS2, and now we will get another change to give it the attention it deserves. Buy it when it comes out!!!!
I had the PS2 version, but I lent some chick my copy and she never returned it...I guess I'll have to get the wii version. It's ok, I'd rather have the wii one anyways.

I'll definitely get it. I played the PS2 version, but unfortunately, I played it after I got my Wii. It really made me wish that Capcom had released the game for the Wii instead of the PS2. Okami was made for the wiimote.

I'll probably get it since I missed the PS2 version; unless of course, it somehow ends up horrible. In that case, I'll just go hunt-down a PS2 copy.AnFangs_Endes
Capcom put up a very good argument a while ago. They said it wouldn't be a sloppy port, for these reasons:
1. If they were going to do a sloppy port, why would they do a game that had such bad sales instead of a game with good sales?
2. A bigger company is porting it, when they could've just used any cheap company to do it.
I have been begging Wii fans to buy these good games but for some reason most Wii fans just buy Nintendo made games. If we dont BUY good games we will STOP getting them.
Just listen to the Wiik In Review at IGN. A guest speaker explicitely tells Wii fans to go out and BUY the good games.
Alot of the same people who complain about the lack of good third party games on dont go and buy the good third party games.

No games like RE4 and Okami are ports that are acceptable. Its crap like star Treck and such that wer eon the pS2 that are annoying. But publishers think we dont know the difference because we dont buy the games.

I am about to speak of a favorite strategy of mine that I like to call non sequitur. In Latin, it means, "it does not follow." In other words, a port won't be bad just because the last one was. Oh, and RE4 was successfully ported to the Wii, getting AAA again and acclaimed for the controls. And guess who made RE4? Capcom.
