I finally gave in....bought a ps3

Being a Xbox 360 owner i alwasy thought having sonys sstem would just be a waste of money and just some paper holder in front of my t.v, but through the last year theres no doubt it has improved greatly, and so i finally gave in and bought it....and yes Uncharted 2 was the final straw lol.

In any case I dont regret it, in fact i consider sonys ystem to have the greater exclusives this gen as much as it pains me to say, though im a proud PS360 owner now! (thankfully multiplatforms tend to be better on 360 so its a win situation.).

I always thoght the best combo to have was a PS3WII or Wii360, but whoever says that is a lie....the best one is PS360.

On topic... I'm inclined to agree with you, though there was a time when Wii60 was better than PS360, imo. The tides have turned....

Depends. Wii has a lot of exclusive yet most of them are mediocre shovel ware.

Yeap...I bought a launch PS3 60 gig to sell. But no one wanted to buy it. So I kept it. Now if you had the console from launch you would of thought it crap....for the longest time it was. The OS was bad, games not so hot. But Sony stuck with it and with firmware updates made a nice machine. After not selling it I kept if for Exclusives and BlueRay playback. Then the Drive went out on it and 150 bucks later it became an exclusive PS3 gaming machine only. I prefer my systems in this order. PC, 360 then the PS3. I agree with the best of both worlds with this setup. I miss nothing other then good Nintendo\Wii games.

I agree with you. You can not go wrong with having both.

You have got to be kidding me. I can name 20 quality PS3 exclusives off the bat that you won't see on a 360. 360's quality exclusives are on PC with the exception of 5 or 6 games maybe.

I'm a PSwii owner here, but I honestly find the wii to be quite useless, none of the games interests me. I'd say PS360 is the best.

At this point, I'm more inclined to do a PS360 combo instead of a Wii60. Outside of Galaxy and No More Heroes, there isn't anything really enticing me to get a Wii.

I gave in when the slim was announced in late August and the price drop down to $299. I just couldnt resist the price, and the games were simply getting better.

I have the PS3/Wii combo but if I had to do it again it would have been PS3/360 as the Wii was just a gimmick with old reliable characters(mario and zelda) and shoveware(Wii Fit/Wii sports). Well and the reason I bought the Wii the controls just suck. Hey but I will just stay with what I have as I can't justify buying another system since I barely have enough time to play the games I like on my PS3. Loving U2.

It was the exact opposite for me. I had always had a PS3, and really never wanted a 360, but then I finally got one back in June. I'm really glad I did! :D
