I find it very hard to look at Wii games

I mean, come on, they just look awful. I have a 1080p 50". It amazing me how horrible they look. The system is 480p..... What is this 1999?

Its not only the horrible resolution, its also the basic hardware.

The damn system is just a Gamecube attached with a new controller, it amazes me how this gimmick sold the most. It really says something about how many sheep are in this world.

All in all, my eyes hurt after playing one game.

I do agree. I even have the HD component cables for my wii. Man, the graphics can show ugly the larger the tv sometimes. I play on a 42" Samsung 1080P tv. My 360 and PS3 look FLAWLESS. The Wii on the otherhand...

But, it's a great little system to play exclusives on so I won't complain too much.

Nice smooth rocks, no jagged edges. They must have been eroded for centuries to end up like that. :P

its not like the graphics suck or anything, but the resolution is just to much for my weak heart derp

I have a hard time looking at PS3/360 games after seeing some of those modded videos of Crysis in 1080p. They are just so outdated compared to PC that looking at their visuals is just degrading to me as a person.

Oh well... I consider Super Mario Galaxy 2 to be the most visually pleasing game this gen. It's so imaginative and colourful. Every thing just pops!

That game is absolutely gorgeous as well. It's like a playable piece of artwork, but I'm a sucker for the outrageously illogical and imaginative worlds that Mario Galaxy 2 offers. It takes me to a visual place I've never been to before nor could have imagined myself

Some games like Mario Galaxy have eye popping graphics where I literally drool at the screen whereas many others don't even look as good as an original xbox game.

I got a little ?, if you dislike it so much why the hell are you even playing it? Sell it, play something else, & move on dude its that simple.

As many people bought a wii for the graphics as those who picked up an original gameboy for the vibrant colors.

I wouldn't talk trash about Wii graphics and having a 1080p TV, when a PS3 and 360 will only play at 720p and use no AA.

i love smg1 and 2's graphics. There are many great looking games on the wii that can keep up with the HD twins. Graphics shouldn't be about the technical aspects or just the realism, it should be about the overall visual package.

HD is obviously an advantage, but its by far not as big as people make it out to be. If they truly believed their own words, there would be no PS3/360 gamers this gen. They would all be playing on a PC

I KNOW. It just makes me just feel dirty, like Crying Game dirty...

I have no problem with it. After all it is a gamecube with a motion controller. Composite cables in 480p slightly improve the look when switching from standard though.

That's probably the worst game to differentiate between versions. I really could not tell which was which until I sat up stuck my nose into the screen.

the technical graphics on the wii might not be that good, but it pushes the artistic direction of the developers as we see in games like smg2, kirbys epic yarn and muramasa. Those games are amazing.

Since majority of people don't have eye problems after playing a session with Wii, I seriously suggest that you see your optometrist. I'm genuinely concerned about your health and I really hope that you do take my advice to avoid future seizures or whatever symptoms you are experiencing upon playing the Wii.funsohng

I went to an optometrist after playing a Wii and he told me to buy a PS3 instead. My eyes have never been better!

The xbox was stronger than the gamecube dude :P The wii... I don't know exactly how much stronger it is than the xbox, but I'd wager it's 25% stronger.

It's definitely worse when you first start, or if you're looking at screenshots on your PC. But once you start playing, you usually adjust. Or at least, for the good games that actually make some sort of effort at having nice visuals. :P

When i play Sin and Punishment 2 i don't pay attention to the graphics compared to anything including my Crysis on my rig. That game moves so fast i'm just trying to shoot and kill everything before i get killed. Most Wii games look bad compared to the HD brethren but what do you expect? I play the Wii for its exclusives just like my PC, PS3 and 360. Its all the same in the end for me...play the system for exclusives and fun. Yes i play multiplats too don't be coy SW!!

Well I can't look up something that isn't true now can I? There may be a bogus claim, that says the wii's cpu is 3 times as strong as the xbox's pentium 3, but it's completely false.
