Sony creates a cheap version of the ps3. They removed their bullet proof B|C for it. Now people are condemning the entry level version as a flop because its missing that feature? Yet retains the rest? Now I know part of this is just system wars. Which means 4 legs good 2 legs bad no matter what, but even common sense seems to poke through the fog every now and then.
There is an option. If you want backwards compatibility, you will buy the more expensive unit with more features. Much like the 360 has a core system that lacks everything & an elite systems that include extra items.
I feel like people will continue to rag on Sony no matter how much the bend over backwards for the consumer. I find it interesting that all the complaints are coming from 360 owners, vs future ps3 owners. The new wave of ps3 owners come next month are mostly going to be ps2 owners. They will still have their system because Sony is still supporting the ps2 actively. Not only for the more expensive versions of the ps3, but also for the ps2's base system. People that buy the base system, are hardly going to be interested in playing ps2 games, if they were.. they would just buy a ps2. for 149.99 or is it 99.99 now?
