I used to argue that the 360 was, in the long run, the most expensive console. I also used to argue that you might as well get a high powered PC with an HDMI port and a few 360 controllers because most of the good games for the 360 come out on the PC, which can run them faster and better.

But alas, I give in, everyone here has convinced me.

The PC is just too expensive. I mean it must cost $400 for a video card that can even remotely do what the 360 can do.

The PS3 is just a glorified Bluray player with no games and Sony is dying financially so there's no point on investing any money into the system. And those exclusives that aren't likely going to be on the PC? Not even close to being worth it.

And the Wii is just for children and casual players who don't know what real games are. There aren't any games that an adult can like. And there certainly isn't any nostalgic value from the virtual console - those games are just too dated to be fun anymore.

I give up. The 360 wins this generation.

You can say the ps3 has fewer games but not "no games". It has almost every game that I care about that exists on the 360 except Mass Effect and L4D. It makes up for it with some great exclusives of its own. Its a matter of taste.

As far as the online experience goes, if find gaming to be better on the ps3 because they run dedicated servers on their big titles. Can you imagine how incredible the Gears 2 multiplayer would have been if it came out on ps3 and they ran dedicated servers? Thats not to say that its perfect. Downloads are just horrible. The psn chat is terrible (but not in games). It doesnt have netflix. I'll take all the bad for some dedicated servers.

Oh and as far as Sony dieing. They have their first loss in forever and all of the sudden they are dieing. Thats happening with companies all over the world. Didnt microsoft post losses this year? Not sure.

yeah I agree with this guy. You dont have to pay that much for a video card. There are a lot of great video cards that are cheap. It almost makes me feel like a fool for owning an xbox or ps3. (and I own the xbox wifi sheesh what was I thinking)

Yeah, the console race will probably end up Wii>360>PS3.

£8 for mass effect down at my local gamestation. On the 360 it's still holding at £20. Yes hardware can be costly but when you custom build you can at least come out with a pc that would have cost you a hell of allot more out of the box. Not to mention a pc has more uses so your not just spending all that money on a gaming machine. It's also not like you have to upgrade that often but most importantly of all like I was saying back at the start pc games are allot cheaper than console games and they seem to go down in price allot faster.

I just had to say that. I don't even pc game myself, hell I'm a lemming for the most part but I've got some respect for pc gamers and you just don't know what your talking about trying to write off the pc like that like every other fanboy.
