@NathanDrakeSwag: Absolutely not. Sea of Thieves got the score it deserves. The game is empty and boring. I like a lot of first party Xbox games, that one puts me to sleep. Maybe this summer when they update it will change, but right now they just came up with a half-baked concept and released something far from finished. My opinion.

IF this kind of game puts people to sleep then so be it... Maybe, in a world where there are 1000s of games to choose from, a cinematic game that is only 10-20 hours long isn't appealing just because it came out NOW and reviewed well.

Why should everyone instantly go for a rather-linear scripted short game just because it has immensely high production values? When they could be indulging in a lower-production value game where they can invest alot more time and have a far more in depth experience?

Nothing, NOTHING else on God's green Earth receives perfect review scores the way a video game does from stupid fanboys who call themselves critics or journalists.

There can be no bias. And why? Well, its simple.

GoW was already a dead franchise. There was no real hope for it. Nobody expected much of the game. Nobody was prepared to give it great scores.

And yet it scored high. So it has to be genuinely good.

Also bear in mind that all previous GoW were honeslty reviewed. No bias there either.

Only in sony fantard world would a person with less than atleast a 2 digit IQ level would think media scores mean a damn thing. Bayonetta got an average 90% metacritic score while God of War got 96%, guess which hack and slash I would recommend? Bayonetta hands down! it is simply the better game with the better replay value, all God of War has going for it is story, thats it (and hype...if that even counts for anything). It is most definitely overrated and this is coming from someone who loved the series and played every game up until God of War 3 (couldn't get to ascension because the game performed terribly), but whatever, its gonna be the same routine. Sony players are gonna play the game 1 time, never touch it again, and at the same time tell us it was the greatest game ever made, because some hipster in some fancy studio gave it a high score.

Getting mad and butthurt over critics' opinions is probably the saddest shit a fanboy can do. They liked the game and you clowns think the game doesn't deserve its scores despite the fact you've never played it lol.

This is why I come to SW, the sheer buffoonery completely astounds and amazes me.

Why do people get so bent out of shape when a game they feel doesn't deserve a certain score gets it? Especially when it's a game that's getting universal acclaim? If you think the game doesn't deserve its score why don't you form your own review site and score it so that your opinion can be added to the aggregate? What's that? No one is interested in the opinions of a bunch of butthurt forum dwelling fanboys? Oh well, you can always write hate mail to the reviewers and post meltdown videos on Youtube ranting and complaining about how all the reviewers in the industry have been bought by Sony.

Many games I dislike get scores that I feel they don't deserve. I completely ignore the scores and move on and accept that maybe those games aren't for me. Afterall, no game out there is designed to please everyone. You clowns need to accept that other people's opinions and realize your gaming tastes are not universal. If a game gets universal acclaim on MC and you dislike it, it just means you're in the minority or you're a butthurt fanboy (like in you guys' case).
