Final Fantasy has a much better than average story for a video game. Stories in Zelda games are next to non-existant.

I would love a sequel to Majora's Mask... or something like that.

However, I disagree that Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time were boring. While both were easy, and Twilight Princess does have a bad story (Ganon felt like he didn't need to be there, no explanation of Triforce, etc.), they are both fun and do have memorable characters (although MM is way better when it came to character development)... in my opinion, of course. :P

I agree with the MM part but TP princess did not have an amazing story. It was just another excuse story for you to go to the next dungeon and fight the same boss again.

That's pretty fancy coming from you. How can you not love Zelda? So what if the overall quality is bad? Why do you care? It's really bizarre to hate that game in that kind of fashion. Imagine something so trivial has ruined your life. Look at the collection of games that Shigeru Miyamoto has put out.

Look I'm not saying Zelda games are bad just that I don't personally play them for the story, the stories in Zelda games are more explaining why you are doing what you are doing instead of stuff like character development. Gameplay wise I loved Ocarina of Time and MM and all the 2d ones.

Are you sure you aren't talking about Final Fantasy's gameplay which still relies on clicking through menu's?

Zelda TP was an excellent and well crafted game, with great gameplay, a killer soundtrack, beautiful atmosphere, and an involving and emotional story.

I loved it.
