Alright, so im debating on either getting dragon age origins or halo reach. Ill get the money by selling read dead redemption and the forced unleashed 1. So, do you think that (in addition to 10 bucks) it would be enough for halo reach or should i get dragon age instead? I tried dao and i loved it but, due to blockbuster, i had to return it. I *SPOILERS* finished the zombie infested town, the wizards tower that got invaded and i was in the dwarves place *END SPOILERS* So, did i have alot of play time left in that game or not? Because i was thinking if i didnt have enough for reach, that id for sure have enough for dao. Ill be selling this at gamestop. Im not asking for prices, im asking if you think ill get at least 20 or 50 for it. Well, opinion on.

Dragon Age on PC if you can.

Halo Reach if you only have a 360.

If they keep improving on the singleplayer in Halo like they have lately then it Reach should have a veyr good campaign. Also Halo online is very popular. Its not my fav, but it does what it does very well. I played hte beta and it was fun, ill def be getting the game evne though im not a big halo fan.

Both games will be worht your money imo

I imagine Dragon Age has a much longer story.

but Reach will probably have a solid campaign, and then there's a guaranteed plethora of features, which works into replaybility.

and it has MP, so if you like Halo MP, you'll get your worth out of it for more time to come, possibly.

Dragon Age of course and it has tons of replay value for a single player rpg. Although I don't like Halo which I think is just more of the same so I might be biased :P

Gamespot thinks they're a great RPG and great FPS series.

I don't think TC cares about biased fanboy opinions:) unless you can actually provide an argument to support your claim. otherwise you might as well type a garbled mess.

Whatever you do, don't get Dragon Age. Unless you're having problems sleeping.

I assume both are for the 360? then I would go for Reach without a second thought. DA:O might be good on console, you know, you playied it ;) but I assume Reach will be the better game, and while in SP Reach is shorter (very likely atleast) I think it have more overall value due to MP.

DA:O is not going anywhere anyways, you can always buy it when it is on sale, reach however is partially an MP based game, so it helps to be there early ;)

yea probably. Dragon age takes like 50 hours to beat.,, and i even went back and played it a second time for achievements.

but personally i would say reach, but thats probably only because i have already beaten dragon age twice, and im psyched for reach. Its a real tough call, imo. But probably try to get reach now and get the $20 pre order code while its out there.

and PS you should trade in your games through amazon, they give you more money... and then you can get credit towards halo reach w/ $20 pre order gift certificate from amazon... and then maybe put that $20 gift card towards dragon age.

I think that would be the cheapest plan in the long run.

Even as a bigger fan of rpg's than any other genre I still recommend Reach. Don't get me wrong I loved my time with DA:O and I put a lot of time into it, but it has far less freedom than one of Bethesda's games and I started to feel walled in which eventually led to me becoming bored.

well, i really liked dao, halo reach looks good too. But, i think its gonna come down to a money issue at this point. I guess if i have enough for reach ill get reach, if i dont, then ill get dragon age. Oh and SapSacPrime, i kinda like the "tunnel vision" dao gives you, im kinda at my boiling point with open world rpg's.

You still had quite a bit to do in your playthrough of Dragon Age. I'd warrant at least another solid 30 hours, hell, maybe you'd even start a second playthrough and see how things would play out differently. I personally love Dragon Age (though I played it on PC and it really should be played on PC) I was also very unimpressed with the Reach beta. I went back to Halo 3 immediately afterwards and found it superior. I'm hoping the multiplayer is significantly altered from what we were given, if not then I don't know what to say.

Damnit, i erased my save, so ill have to start over. I like the reach beta tho, but ill prolly get dao because halo 3, tfu, rdr and a extra ten bucks are not enough for a new 60 dollar game. (btw, my pc prolly cant even play doom, dao on pc is outta the question)

Halo: Reach, for sure. Dragon Age: Orgins is also a safe bet, but In my opinion, Reach is one of th best games I've played (I say this because I've tried the beta).

In short:

Reach. Kick. Ass.

I've never played Dragon Age, so I can't comment on that. But Halo Reach looks awesome. I have the Limited Edition console preordered at Gamestop.

Dragon Age sucks, get Gothic 4 or Fallout Vegas if you want an rpg this year.
