I have a feeling these canceled Rare games will be featured on the next Xbox.

MS is already working on it, I feel that they are just trying to squeeze out as much money as they can with Rare by using them for Kinect. They kinda did this with the original Xbox. The only game Rare made for that system was new terrible ip and a rehash...they were suppose to release more(Kameo, PDZ, etc...), then they decided to release the games on the next console. I doubt those games mentioned recently are even canceled.

Even if MS are "saving" cancelled games, I can tell you for a fact that the new Rare is a joke. They're not going to work on a shooter, they're a Kinect team now.

It would be nice to see PD 2 and Kameo 2... MS is gonna have a really hard time next gen. They pretty much have no first party any more.

The funny thing is PD and Kameo really never got a chance to grow. Xbox was young... What did they expect back then? To sell over 2 million units each?

I bet if MS would have waited half way into the 360 life. The games would have done alot better.

Thats why all the best talent of Rare left? Wishful thinking but MS managed Rare incredible bad. They had the most creative and innovative deverlopers in the industry and butchered everything they do for the sake of the casual American gamer.

Rare barely exists anymore. They are a low-tier developer who now focuses on casual games for Kinect. They do not have the artists, programmers, or designers necessary to make AAA games anymore. All of them left en masse when Microsoft bought them out, and they had already been leaking talent for several years under Nintendo. The true Rare is gone, and the sooner fanboys accept this the less painful it will be. You are never going to get those epic sequels to Perfect Dark, Killer Instinct, Jet Force Gemini or Banjo-Kazooie, because the people who made those games good are all at different companies now. Microsoft bought a lemon and decided that Kinect-ware is the best way to recoup their losses.

Rare is nothing more than a name. The majority of people who turned them into a legendary dev are gone and they have been reduced to making kinect games. I honestly believe none of those canned rare games will ever be made.. at least not by rare.. the more likely thing is MS selling off the rights to the franchises.
