I'm burnt out I'm spent. I've beat Uncharted on my PS3 i just beat Mass Effect on my 360. I also just beat Halo 3 and COD4 on my 360. Now I'm playing Assassin Creed.

I'm truly getting spent. I need a break i think. I think i need to power down all systems for a few months and just take a break.

I think i just need a recharge for gaming. And let my desire build back up. With all the great games this fall. I feel like there is nothing worth playing for a bit.

Has anyone else felt the gamer overload I'm feeling?

I'm actually feeling like i want to go get a Wii now and play some simple games. And give the hardcore stuff a break.

It's called "Video game ADD", when you try to complete so many games at once. Best to buy a game, finish it, buy the next.

Take a jog and clear your head a bit, playing a wii won't help you unless you're like only burnt out of shooter games or something. Though then again, when people say "simple gmaes" it seems nonshooter games are pretty much what they mean.

Yeah, I had to put Mass Effect away. I played through that game 3 times back to back and was about to do it again..I decided to wait for some DLC before I mess with it again..In that time I also beat Uncharted, and COD 4 and I just can't get in to Assassin's Creed as much as I'd like to..I ultimately decided to watch the first season of The Wire to detox...

Same here. There were so many great games that came out this year that I just didn't have enough time to play through hardly any of them. I currently have 3 Wii games, 4 PSP games and 6 PS3 games left to complete. I should really stop buying games when I don't need to. Still, I won't have much time to beat them in the next few weeks cos exams are coming up.

Super Metroid only takes 2-9 hours, depending.

Go beat it.

have you beat all the initial bosses in Megaman 2?

Yes, I'm in Wily's castle. Level 4 or 5. I need to find some time to play it again.

Yep, same here.

I currently have 21 Xbox 360 games I haven't finished, and don't see myself doing so anytime soon.

2007 was such a good year for gaming that I had to have them all! Unfortunately, time isn't so forgiving :(

Been so long since I played that game. Are the Mega Mans on the virtual console now? :P I haven't looked at the games I could get in ages.

Megaman and Megaman II are. I never got to playthem much back in the day, so I decided to try Megaman II. Partly because of the praise it got from Screwattack.

Buy a Wii, its all crap with a few gems, and guess what, every time you contribute to Kidtendos pocket, they make sure the future is just as bright!

Go Kidtendo!

Well i beat Halo 3 about 6 weeks ago. I beat COD4 about 2 weeks ago. I just beat Uncharted this past weekend. And i just beat Mass Effect yesterday morning. And i started Assasins Creed yesterday.

Not to mention i'm at the final boss on RE4 that i was playing on my PS3.

I'm just really feeling the itch of something is missing i think it's the good old days calling me. Meaning i think i want to play some Mario maybe MG on Wii. Or i may go play so me Mario 64 on my girlfriends DS. I never did play that game. So is Mario 64 on DS the same as mario 64 on the Nintendo 64?

You know guys, I think to combat video game fatigue, is to do something which doesn't require brain activity at all i.e playing another 'simple' game. It doesn't hurt to go do some physically intensive stuff now does it? Well.... it won't hurt that much :P. Seriously, if you got a problem, just stay away from video games for a while. After playing a video game, I can't do anything like read a book, watching a movie, playing Sudoku...it just requires the same functions I was using playing those games. I have to kick a ball around or something, and that's the antidote to the problem. The most relaxing time for me to play a game or write a script or whatever is after I do my morning workout (coming up in 20 minutes), then hitting the shower, and getting onto it first thing for my morning schedule. I feel like I'm on a roll :D.

that's happening to me right now. i have plenty of games to play, but the fact that i haven't beaten any of them makes me want to play them less. that makes no sense but that's the way it is.

Finishing Mass Effect burned me out somewhat. I tried playing CoD4 online and couldn't get back into it. Seemed dull, even though I was having a blast with it before ME. The Orange Box is collecting dust too and I just got past Ravenholm. ME is so good that everything else seems like a waste of time (which of course it is).
