[QUOTE="Ryumoau23"]I was wondering since they moved the NA release of the game from February 10 to March 9, and the Japanese release is next week, will the NA version have new content or will it just take that long to localize the game?Rahnyc4No!

Why the hell is June strategic for Europe? :(
Because you guys are going to keep buying Mario & Sonic and Big Brain Academy, Nitnendo is okay.

Could be because that is when most people are likely to be out and playing with their mates. Playing Brawl while you are in your mates house, and enjoying every moiment, may make you want to buy that game, but that's jusdt my two pence.

True :o
Maybe it's because Smash Bros. smallest region is in Europe? According to VGChartz, the original Super Smash Bros. only sold 650,000 compared to nearly 2 million (1.97m) in Japan and 2.3m in the US.
Melee sold just over a million (1.08m) in Europe, 1.44m in Japan and over 4 million in the US (4.06m)

smash is a system seller..... it seems that japan needs some software to push hardware... the us doesnt need anything right now so they are spacing titles out to maintain a sales momentum.amtentori
amtentori, is that a pick of Fierce Diety Link in your profile? That is so cool. Hope he is in Brawl.

Because Americans need a couple of extra months of practice before they are at the starting level of a European gamer.
lol. That was kinda mean.
Just kidding of course...a joke...with some truth to it.

No it not because of a strategic date....They did not think they would have enoght copies to meet the demade
They have already stop taking preorders in Japan for the same reason
Wouldn't delaying the release date because you won't have copies be setting a strategic release date? I think it is strategically better to have product out on the release date then to have none.
Supposedly there is a predicted shortage of SSBB in Japan, so it's likely that the delay has something to do with this as well. More time to stamp discs and print manuals etc... Nintendo is also probably working on making their online network more robust.notalkjustrock
They should probably drop that silly Friend Code thing.
