We keep the indiana jones and linear gameplay, but now we have him and a random girl stranded on an island in bermuda, were they fight robots with upgradable futuristic type gund. Then later after finding a hiddne tribe you get to fly in a jet pack shooting down UFo's and robot threats as you find a way off the mysterious island. We can call it Uncharted 4: Dark Void. What do you think :)dr-professional
Pretty pathetic troll attempt, to be honest.
I would love if the game can be set briefly arond the islands im living on because his so call decentant Sir francis drake sailed through my islands which is why we have a sea channel name after him.
it's funny to me that uncharted gets called out for ripping off indiana jones when indiana jones ripped off about a hundred other serials and movies.
They learned it from Halo.I'd be surprise if there was an uncharted 4...seeing as it was announced as a trilogy and naughty dog never does more than 3 main entries to a franchise.

Here's what will actually happen in Uncharted 4:
Drake and someone (but not Elena, they split up again) get into trouble.
In the process they find some ancient artifact or learn of it.
They research the artifact and find out it has something to do with Francis Drake and his Lost Plot Device! It's also priceless and will make them rich!
They following gameplay sequence plays out 3 or 4 times in various attractive locations:
-Witty dialogue
-Climbing things that only seem to crumble when Drake touches them
-Shoot the bad guys
-Solve a puzzle
-Shoot some more bad guys
-Crazy cinematic moment!
-Reveal that you were in the wrong place and find a clue that leads you to exotic locale #34
They bump into Elena at some point along the way and Drake talks about how nice her ass is and the audience swoons at this lovely couple who just can't seem to get on!
Also during that at some point Drake will get seriously injured yet still manage to leap 18 foot gaps with ease.
The finally end up in Atlantis/the Pyramids/some other mythological or cursed place and find the villains about the clutch victory!
Luckily the cursed place really is cursed! The main villain is eaten alive by Giant Fish Men/Mummies/some other mythological or cursed being, or is transformed by the curse leading to yet another crappy boss fight.
They lose the treasure but never fear, Sully has secretly stolen one little bit of gold that will keep them in Ramen Noodles and hair gel for years to come!
Drake and Elena realise how much the love each other and everyone playing the game has a massive dose of deja vu.

As long as the next Uncharted game doesn't rip off any more Indiana Jones movies then I'll be happy.MushroomWigThey have stated many times that uncharted is their homage to campy adventure movies like indiana jones and romancing the stones. That is not ripping off.

And BAM, 10 all over the sites because of originality.
It's going to take place 19 years from now, Drake is now a Professor of Archaeology at Marshall College. It pits an older, wiser Nathan Drake against Soviet agents bent on harnessing the power of a Diamond skull discovered in South America by his former colleague Sully. He is aided in his adventure by an old lover, Elena, and her son-a young hipster, later revealed to be his biological child, Nathan Drake Jr.AAllxxjjnn
Hmm, that's sounds awfully familar! :o
A great idea for U4 would be to kill the entire set of characters in the opening minutes. but seriously Im tired of them now. a 4th wouldn't do too well I think and they should go to something else

That is not ripping off. A homage is one thing but Uncharted 3 directly takes ideas from Indiana Jones, the latest game more-so. Personally I think devolopers use the phrase homage as an excuse to copy ideas..."b..but it's just a homage that we're using the same story ideas from Indiana Jones 3."

and Indiana Jones took countless set pieces and ideas from TV and movie theater serials.
They never said it was a trilogy. In fact, didn't they talk about recently how they'd likely make it as long as it was in such big demand? They also said they moved onto new franchises because new technology opened up new things they could do.I'd be surprise if there was an uncharted 4...seeing as it was announced as a trilogy and naughty dog never does more than 3 main entries to a franchise.

I knew you were going to say that and yes, there are a lot of similarities. But look at this, uncharted is a GOOD game and MUCH more of an indiana jones sequel than indiana jones 4 was. ALSO, its not like they aren't giving credit for their inspiration, they flat out admitted it. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Please, it should be set on Robot Pirate island. So much better than just robots.

God I thought Spongebob would grow old. I was wrong
I think the next Uncharted game should be in Australia, looking for a tribe of Aborigines with some priceless artifacts in a vast hidden desert canyon city. The bad guys could be Australian mercenaries and the final boss could be Yahtzee, and instead of shooting you he just insults you until Drake's ego meter empties.
So maybe that last part won't happen, but I think Australia is a fantastic place that needs to be explored in games more. We won't be seeing a GTA Australia anytime soon with crime rates THAT boring, so an Uncharted adventure would be neat,

The thought of Drake riding a kangaroo through the Outback is awesome on a level beyond awesome.
