i have questions about the FF13 announcement

When you first heard this announcement did your jaw drop? Mine did mainly because i hadnt thought about it (i dont care about FF) but i suppose if i considered it i wouldnt have been surprised.

Cows i want you to express how you feel about this turn of events. Do you even care? I mean you still get to play it right?

Lemmings im pretty sure i can already guess your excited about this but if im wrong tell me so.

when i heard about it i gave out the biggest "HOLY ****" possible.

the reaction around the system wars board isnt really suprising. cows are acting as if it's not a huge deal since they're still getting the game while lemmings arent throwing any punches about the news. what bugs me about all of this is how alot of cows are acting like Versus was the game they were all interested in.

i will tell you right now..Versus was nothing more than an afterthought before microsoft's press conference.

I gotta admit, my ps3 was kicked in the balls.

But all in all, I got a 360 as well so I know me and all my friends can play and compare achievements and stuff.

I can tell you that many people were more excited for Versus than 13. My RL friends and myself were more excited for it because it's going to have Kingdom hearts style gameplay, and cut-scenes/animations done by the Advent Children team.

But yeah, there were fanboys acting as if it didn't matter. Living in denial sucks eh?

I didn't care that 360-only people can play the game, I was and am concerned at the amount of content in the game with this revelation.

time will tell, still seems like a long way off.

i wouldnt worry despite me not liking Final Fantasy i know Sqaure does a topnotch job on just about everything they do

I'm at least as interested in Versus as I am in FF13. It's supposed to have a darker story and more of an action-rpg feel to it. Still, my love for that game didn't lessen the shock of FF13 going multiplat.

if the 360 version turns out to be a multiple disc then all my worries are for not.

i would be one of those fans, i was hyped for 13 itself because i thought that a trailer i had seen of versus was for 13, but now i know otherwise, ill still buy both obviously, but i like the darker look of versus more

Thats why its my most anticipated title. Kinetica did such a great job with the fight scenes in FF VII Advent Children. Nomura is also crazy with producing them also. Its gonna be good.

Last Remnant is a timed exclusive on the 360 because of development issues on the ps3 version. while he didnt say the game was going to be an exclusive..he also brought of the possibility that they wont make a ps3 version.

could be atleast a year on the 360 before the game gets ported to the ps3.

I have a feeling it will go multiplat or ported later also. The president of S-E when interveiwed dodged the question like 2 times before he asked kindly to pass to the next question please. (I will try and find the link) .

I think that there are gonna be too many fans to ignore sending this one to the PS3. In Japan and the U.S/Europe. We'll have to see in the future. Plus S-E wants to appeal to as many fans as possible right????

I thought the UTv3 was made to cater to 360 and PS3, it's only recently that its been established for the PS3? Didn't know :o

Mostly this one. Its not like they don't get the play the game.

Didn't really care. Just bummed that it'll probably take longer to release since they're gonna have to develop it on the 360 and they wanna release it simultaneously.

Although I've been confused if SE wants it out at the same time for consoles or the same time around the globe.

i know alot of 360 users who were just meh. They were surprised when I told them but they are not into ff. It's not big news to alot of them cuz they have other hobbies like working out at the gym etc.

Although I was angry cuz the ps3 version is delayed, I am more interested in vs13. I like the real time action more than 13's battle system.

As with star ocean, im not too worried. The only rpgs i can see not coming over to ps3 is LO and IU. Oh well, happy gaming.. cheers.

I was mad, because the game is going to take longer to get over here, as if it wasn't taking long enough as it is. We haven't even seen gameplay, yet. Then, I realized S-E was smart, tapping into the 15 million or so 360s in the U.S. and Europe, though I doubt many 360 owners are JRPG fans, and was even more impressed that they weren't stupid enough to sell a 360 version in Japan and watch it flop.

Still don't care, though, as I want Versus more (mature story and gameplay), and the FFs are too highly praised for their own good, though they are good games.

It took me a while to realise what game it was, as the camera didn't show a close up of the screen. It wasn't until the yellow soldiers came up on screen that i realised it was FF13.

It's pretty cool, though. Definitely the biggest shocker of E3.

What is annoying me now though is the amount of people acting like VS wasn't hyped. Any person that even mentions it is considered a damage contrlling cow. A lot of people were more interested in VS. Some were even more excited about due to it being made by the Kingdom hearts team. But now whenever it's mentioned, that person is laughed at and accused of being a damage controlling cow.

I'm definitely more interested in VS, but i think FF13 will be the better game.

EDIT: I'm not saying nobody is damage controlling, it's just everybody that's interested in VS is getting accused of it.
