First off, for those of you that know me here on SW know that I'm a die hardSony fan and what I'm about to say may shock some of the cows and lemmings. The 360 in my opinion is better than the PS3. Yes, I've said it, the 360 is better than the PS3. I may bash the 360 from time to time buttruth is,I really like the 360 and right now its better than the PS3.I haven't touch my PS3 since i've had itand I don't own any games for it because the games that are out imo isn't worth any of my money.

As for the 360, I've been playing Gears of War and Halo 3 like crazy but I play Gears of War the most because of its mutiplayer. I just wish the reallyl good games for the PS3 would hurry up and come because I've been waiting for a long time and I'm getting tired of waiting. Hey, atleast the 360 will keep me busy until my PS3 exlusives come out next year. Well I've just had to get that off my chest.

The PS3 is the first Sony system I didn't own at launch, and that I still don't own even now. I usually own 100+ games for Sony machines by the end of their respective generations, but I won't get close at the rate the PS3 is going. Kind of sad.

My brothers 360 seems to disagree with you, his has recently been acting up. Given him the 3 red lights when he tries to play dvds on it. Finally, after having it for 10months with disc read errors here and there, looks like its finally about to crap out on him.

And don't tell me its about the games, cause so far the 360 has Gears and Halo. 2 games worth getting that are exclusive. Oooo wow the handful of games.

i also have the PS3 i owned Resistance for like a week around PS3s launch then i rented and beat heavenly sword and that is all i have done with my PS3 when it comes to games. but between me and my brothers my xbox is being played all the time. it will probably break when we get mass effect in about a month. :)

Gears and Halo arent the only reason bro. Bioshock, Forza and Mass Effect coming soon are just a couple of more games that are way better than anything the PS3 has to offer. not to mention the online is better and a lot of the multiplats are better on xbox.

Yeah, it kinda of ruined it for me aswell. I like Halo 3s mutiplayer but to me its just not better than Gears mutiplayer.

that happens to me in a lot of games too.

my first zelda i ever played was OOT for GC it was one of my favorite games if not my favorite game i have played ever. i tried to play the others afterwards like MM, WW and TP but because i played OOT none of them matched up so i couldnt enjoy it really.

its kind of like that now with FPS on xbox live.

Total opposite for me. i never buy sony consoles at launch I always wait two years and continue to play the previous one.

I played resistance online and it was pretty boring. I only played it about 3 times and stopped. The single player was boring aswell. It wasn't as fun as people was making it out to be. Soulja_West

what sucks even more is that my PS3 has been just sitting there for a year and now for $100 less i couldve bought a 80gig. its just jacked.

even the blu ray is useless. come on blu ray donesnt have transformers?? wtf? i needed to get a HD player for my xbox just for that movie. f blu ray from here on out.

Same here. My PS3 is very dusty lol. I need to clean it off but I'm afriad that I might scratch it up if I use a towel.

anybody who looks at the games on the two consoles can tell you that the 360 is better (unless they are blind) ...but the question is will it always be better?

Personally I think the future ps3 games ,features, updates, price-drops will all help the ps3 to become the better console....Sony has not made mistakes lately and they are actually taking all the criticism from everyone and improving where improvement is needed.

I really dont know your posting history but to be honest if FPS is your favorite genre then you are most likely not a cow. I own both a PS3 and a 360 and to be honest the PS3 has a brighter future ahead of it. Im looking forward to Uncharted: Drakes Fortune more then any game this year along with Assasins Creed. Mass Effect will be great on the 360 also but my point is if you are a cow then its usually stuff like Final Fantasy and MGS4 that would appeal to you. Not bioshock and Halo.

well of course its an opinion, but the following reasons enfore my opinion:

Resistance has all of these things to its advantage

weapon variety

number of players

no lag

clan support

more gametypes

superior party/custom/ranked game system

two races

variable maps size

report cheaters option

online forum in which the developer actually listens to the players and makes changes accordingly

someone mentioned that the glitches in gears don't get patched very well. In Resistance they always fix glitches as they come about, they don't ignore them.
