They tried to buy Nintendo a long time ago but that fell through because Nintendo didn't want to sell out.
That's no reason to hate MS, btw. It is just business, you gotta do what you can to get to the top.
I never heard of MS trying to buy Capcom but he Nintendo one is sort of true.
Before MS got into the gaming industry, Bill Gates was asked if he would a buy game developer like Nintendo rather than just start their own. Bill said that if Nintendo was for sale that he would indeed purchase them. This got back to the Nintendo's President (before Iwata) and said he would never sell the company to anybody.
It really does not matter if the Nintendo President would not sell. Nintendo is a publicly held company. All MS would of had to do is buy up enough stock to have a say in the company or enough gain control. In 2005, Nintendo bought up any outstanding shares to prevent this from happening.
Microsoft couldn't get Nintendo so it bought Rare... and that hasn't turned out as well as it should have. As for the Capcom thing, that rumor went on for a while, but Capcom would be stupid to make that deal especially since the 360 hasn't caught on in Japan.
that why i i hate MS they did with OS market and are know trying to do it with video game market. They tried to buy Nintendo a long time ago but that fell through because Nintendo didn't want to sell out.
