what's with all these 12 year olds claiming to have "outgrown" mario?

Fair enough it's a pretty kiddy game but it's still the pinnacle of 3D platforming and by far the best game of the year. I'm sure these little kids would be singing a different tune if there was blood, guts and sanitised swearing in the game

You played one level and you're saying it's repetetive? Self-ownage, my friend. There's like fourty levels in the game and they are all about as different as it gets.

well then you should be embarassed to call yourself a gamer, becasue gameplay should be paramount to you.

Hell it's not as if most games tackle mature themes in any sort of interesting way. Even the best games like Halo and Geow have stories that are hokey crap

What's really childish is the notion that anyone who is an adult cant enjoy something wwith universal appeal

I was watching a SMS/SMG comparison video and besides the graphics being so similar it also appeared to share a lot of gameplay elements (minus the water gun of course) so people acting like this game re-invented the wheel and SMS was garbage (I enjoyed it quite a bit got all the stars and most of the red coins) are overstating things.JiveT

So today i was either going to buy Asassins Creed of Bioshock for my 360 when i remembered that my little sister has a Wii, and Super Mario galaxy got GOTY basically everywhere....so i decided to get SMG instead.

Honestly, every little planet is basically the same, you have two whole options to kill things.....jump on em or spin!!!! I Mean yeah its fun for a few mins but come on, why is this game getting GOTY everywhere? its nowhere near amazing or mindblwing, very overrated.

oh, and the whole story is just plain silly....princess peach gets captured, and some magic comet lady will help you find her after you get all the big stars back? lol give me a break.

lol I think SMG and AC is boring in AC its a Overrated game and you do the SAME THING over and over,and SMG is a overrated game that everyone think is so spectacular..and it's not.
